Story
This lanky little girl started out pretty shy, but as she settles in she's showing us more and more of her playful personality! Banjo was brought into the ACC as a stray and we unfortunately don't know anything at all about her history, but since she's been with us (just about a month now as I'm typing this on 12/31) she's been a pretty perfect cat. She always uses the litter box, scratches on the scratching posts instead of other places, is polite to her feline roommates, and welcomes you as you enter the room! That's right! Banjo is showing us that she's pretty talkative and will great her favorite people with a chirp when they enter the cat room! Banjo is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines, so she's all set to go home! If you are interested in adopting her, you can fill out an adoption application for her on our website, waywardranch.org. We don't have any set adoption fees, but are asking for an adoption donation of $150 for Banjo.

Story
This big dude is Xylophone and to be honest, I don't know what to say about him except that he's a big lovebug who's also just a little bit of a dummy. We pulled him the same time we pulled the rest of the Instruments (check out Trumpet and Banjo's bio's to learn more about them!) and he gets along great with them and the rest of our cat room crew. Trumpet isn't the only one who's taken advantage of some kitten cuddle-time! Xylo is a little bit more timid than Trumpet, but can be just as outgoing as he warms up to people. He also loves to play, but isn't quite as athletic and plays a bit more in slow-mo than Trumpet or the kittens. He can also play a little rough with humans and has been known to playfully nibble on hands so he would do best in a home without any younger kids. He's also super social with the other cats, so we would love for him to get adopted with one of his buddies or into a home that has another social cat already. He wasn't super thrilled about the first dog he met while he was here with us, but could probably co-exist happily enough with a dog who's used to being around cats after some settling in time. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines, so he's ready to move into his forever home as soon as we can find it! If you are interested in adopting Xylo, you can fill out an adoption application on our website, waywardranch.org! We don't have any set adoption fees but are asking for an adoption donation of $150 for Xylo.

Story
This fantastic dude is Trumpet and he's one of the coolest cats you will ever meet! We first learned about Trumpet from an email from the NY ACC and as soon as we saw his adorable face we knew we had to help him. Like most of the cats we get from the ACC, he was brought in as a stray, so we have no idea what his history is - but with how confident and loving he is, it's obvious he was loved at some point in his life. He is the rare type of cat who was immediately comfortable in our cat room and warmed up to his feline roommates instantly. He's even been caught cuddling with a kitten or two! (Momma Saffron is very happy to have someone who enjoys Sandy's cuddling so she can have a break!) Trumpet is an absolute sweetheart, constantly purring whenever he's around people, and would do great at a bakery because he's always making biscuits! He's also super playful, both with humans and with other cats. Because of how social he is, we're looking to place him in a home with one of his current buddies or in a home that already has a social cat, but we think he would be great with kids and would most likely be okay with a chill dog after some adjustment time! He is up to date on his vaccines and is microchipped, but because he is a unilateral cryptorchid (meaning that only one of his testicles descended) he hasn't been neutered yet, but we would love to have a home lined up for him to go into as soon as he's ready! If you are interested in adopting this lovely dude, you can fill out an adoption application on our website, waywardranch.org! We don't have any set adoption fees but are asking for a donation of $150 for Trumpet when he's adopted.
