Mittens is being surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is utd on vaccinations & spayed. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training, it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. She is about 5 years old and weighs about 8lbs.

Story
Fig is a goofy, sweet, chatty 2-year old girl who would thrive in a single cat home. She adores people and often demands pets using strong headbutts. She'll let you know how happy she is with her loud purrs and tip-tapping toes. Sometimes she gets so excited, she gives little love bites, so she might not be the best fit for families with young children. Fig was found as a stray after having kittens and brought to a shelter. Not much was known about her history with other cats, so she was adopted into a home with another cat in the hopes that she would eventually accept a feline roommate, but even the slowest attempts to introduce her to the resident cat have proved stressful for her. She has food allergies (which are currently managed with a prescription diet) that make her feel itchy, and the stress of having another cat in the home is causing her to over groom, which is adding to her skin irritation. Charcoal is spayed and declawed. I have had her for a few months but my other cats are mean to her. She is 6 years old and very loving. Must go to a house with no cats. She spends he life hiding behind my couch. She only comes out when the other cats are put up in a separate area of the house. She will cuddle and make biscuits on you for hours. We love her but she isn't happy here. She shouldn't have to spend the rest of her life hiding.

My husband’s father recently passed away. Onyx was his mother’s cat and she passed a few years ago. We believe he is about 10. He is a sweet boy and is not adjusting to life with our 2 cats. Our male is not being tolerant and we have had to isolate Onyx. It has been several months and it is not fair for him to live in a bedroom alone. He needs to interact more with people. He was indoor outdoor but seems ok being only in at our house. Loves the ball racetrack, doesn’t spray or scratch furniture, never jumped on kitchen counter, enjoys playing and some pets. Not a cuddler or lap cat but likes being near you.
