Story
Mittens is being surrendered to our rescue due to too many animals in the home. She is utd on vaccinations & spayed. She is an independent cat, who will snuggle with you occasionally. She might need a little work with litter training, it is intermittent, but it is probably due to the number of cats in the home vs. the number of litter boxes. She is about 3 years old and weighs about 8lbs.

Story
Hershal is 3 years I had him and his brothers since they were born. They went to another home but wad returned so I kept them and they go inside and outside. Hershal has FIV and needs to be indoors, which isn't feasible for me. We are looking for an experienced adopter to give him a home indoors. Preferably someone with a cat or cats already. I would be willing to send one of his brothers with him for the right home. If it doesn't work out for some reason I can take them back. And try rehoming him again. I would really appreciate updates to know how he is adapting to his new home and am willing to help when needed.

Story
I have an 11 year old cat that is very well loved. He is very affectionate and easy going. He is pretty quick with adjustment also (we moved several times). We unfortunately cannot keep him due to my four-year-old having cystic fibrosis and has many lung problems. We have been trying to keep the cat away from her, but unfortunately, even the smallest amount of pet dander is an irritation to her. We also have a newborn on the way. He may be 11, but still has a lot of spunk and playfulness. He loves little catnip play mice. But he also loves to snuggle on your lap at night. Please help to find a forever home.

Story
Buddy and his brother Winchester were dumped as three month old kittens on our cul-de-sac. We found Winchester under our car and Buddy was found by our neighbors. He lived with one obese, older cat and the series of three French bulldogs, all now deceased except the new puppy. Five years later, our neighbor stated Buddy was not getting along with the new puppy and planned on surrendering him. That’s when we offered to take him. Despite gradual and repeated introduction trials with three different medications, Buddy stalks and attacks his brother, Winchester . Buddy initially had altercations with our two older cats, but they held their ground and he leaves them alone. Winchester has been very stressed with every introduction attempt and begins peeing and pooping outside of his box. We hope that Buddy can be adopted by someone looking for a single pet. He is affectionate, playful, uses his box, agreeable for nail clipping, and getting in and out of his carrier for trips to the vet.

Story
Widdershins is an adorable three year-old tabby boy who absolutely loves people and is the life of the party. He can sit, spin, and high-five on cue. He loves attention, and although he isn't a lap cat, he will sit and sleep next to you and loves petting. He is easy to handle, even letting you cradle him like a baby and pet his belly. I adopted Widdershins from a friend's farmstead in rural Iowa during the pandemic, and he immediately took to indoor life. He uses his litterbox 100% like a champion! I am very sad to part with him, but I need to rehome him because he is aggressive toward our other cat. They were adopted together and used to be best friends, but his aggression has escalated to where it is not safe to have him with her, and our place is too small to keep separating them long term. He CANNOT go to a home with any other cats. But people? He just loves people, even strangers. He is a wonderful little man! He hasn't been around kids much, but I think he'd do fine.

Story
Adopted her as a kitten, and have had her for 10 years. She is friendly but a little skittish around young children, does better with older kids and adults. Is litter box trained but will sometimes go outside the box when she is upset. Does not get along with dogs or other cats. Is a great mouser. Has claws still. Have to rehome as she does not get along with our dog and is now confined to a single room in the house which is not fair to her.

Story
Essie is a 6/7 year old rescue that I pulled out from under a dumpster at my workplace while she was still under a year old. It took her a little while to adapt to indoor life, but once she did, she became an incredibly friendly, loving & caring cat, but, like most cats, it's on her own terms. She loves to play, but mostly on her own, unless you're going to throw her something with catnip on it. She loves a nice Sunbeam nap. She will physically nap in your lap, but this is only a very recent development.
