Story

Eliot is a an adventurous, polydactyl cat with extra digits on both front feet. He is very playful, very vocal, and has a lot of curiosity, always wanting to explore. He is affectionate and likes to push up against you to tell you he wants petting. We are unable to keep him because he is acting aggressively toward our other cat. We were misinformed about his temperament when we adopted him, and had thought he was good with other cats. We have tried everything we could think of for the past year, but the stress of housing two cats separately and keeping them constantly sequestered has become too difficult. He needs a family who can give him the attention he deserves. We believe he will fit in great with a family that has medium to large dogs (Eliot has been fine with our Golden Retriever) but not with other cats. He is good with children. Eliot needs a lot of attention and playtime, and will meow a lot to tell you!

Jinx is an adorably affectionate 3 year old male - whom are other cats believe is too affectionate and playful. We have tried for a year but our older cats won’t come out of hiding. He is house trained, and eats dry food. He absolutely loves people, even greets us at the door after work & school. We truly are saddened and hope he is adopted by a lovely family (he is wonderful around young children/infants.)

Small Kitten found terrified out in my Garden when neighbor moved and abandoned. It's NOT a "wild cat". She's totally domesticated. She's still very small, about 7 months. I took her to Vet to update whatever was needed including Flea Treat, Vax, & Fix. Beside being gorgeous, she's so very sweet and gentle, loves playing, belly and neck rubs, and I'd love to keep her but my territorial Cats will def hurt her. I set up a Tent Hotel for her outside till I can get her adopted, but she figured out the Zipper so now she's spending all her time inside a Carrier when I'm not with her. Nights in Tent are lonely, and flooding from storms so I can't run a heater when raining. Having surgery in a few weeks and would break my heart to take her to a Shelter, but am loosing hope for this unless?? I don't have a way to upload to their format but do have Videos on request with text.

Stormie is a nine year old senior male cat. He is my mother’s cat and she is looking for a new home for him. He has had some issues with her new cat as well as adjusting to moving to my mother’s new house, so we think it is best to rehome him. He is not good with other cats, but he should be okay with small dogs and children. He is a very sweet boy and is very much a couch potato, but he can be a little shy at first. We’re looking for a loving home who will be patient with him.

Someone posted on Facebook that this cat just showed up at their house one day. They’ve been feeding it for well over a month. They were pretty sure it was a female and pregnant. The weather was getting colder and they wanted help trapping it or someone to take it in. I trapped the cat. I took it to Altercare. Had it fixed rabies vaccine annual vaccine dewormed flea and heartworm 30 day medication. Cat did not appear to have fleas or anything after I trapped it. The cat is not aggressive, but is scared occasionally will kiss you and petting, but has never shown aggression. It just needs some love and patience. It uses its litter box exclusively in its cage, but I have not given it full run of my house. I need to rehome it before December 20. If it’s not rehomed by December 20, I will have to just re-release it at the location. I trapped it but at least now it’s fixed and vaccinated.

She enjoys hanging out in cat trees and takes great pride in her grooming—she just might be the cleanest Kitty on the Block! Penelope has been diagnosed with Feline Herpesvirus (FHV), which means she may have some occasional eye discharge throughout her life. While FHV is contagious to other cats, it doesn't affect humans or other types of pets, so we’re seeking a home where Penelope can be the only feline or other cats that have been exposed. Despite her diagnosis, she can live a long, happy, and healthy life with just a little extra TLC. Could that special home be yours?
