Story
Sweet female cat in need of rehoming! I rescued Lupita a few years ago in the winter freeze as she was a stray street cat, and have kept her ever since. She is typically pretty relaxed and can be cuddly, but likes to play too! Unfortunately, she just claws at things often and I'm in a new home that can't afford any damage from her scratching. Otherwise, she's an easy cat and would make a great pet for a single person or any household with no dogs (we have a dog too and she just doesn't interact with her much, so I think she'd prefer to be on her own but could live with another dog if necessary)

Story
Freya is a friendly, talkative four year old cuddler who loves attention and being around people. She has lived around other cats, but has never met a dog. She is extremely well socialized witth humans and loves to meet new friends. She loves to chase, nap and play fetch and her favorite thing in the world is bottle caps. She is a loveable scamp who is always curious. Freya has been my constant companion for three and a half years, but I have been in treatment for the past three months and am incapable of caring for her in my present situation. Her bright, loving personality has brought me years of joy and I know she has so much more love to give to her future friends.

Story
We rescued Pickles and his sister (Sprinkles) last May, after they were dumped on a rural county road. Pickles is a big personality and a hit with the neighborhood kids, but has caused some issues with our neighbors that do not care for cats. Unfortunately, we had an incident recently where Pickles nipped a neighbor. Pickles is a year and a half neutered male, good with kids, good with other pets, and very friendly. Our cats stay in the garage and outdoors during the day, but I am unable to make them indoor cats due to allergies in the family. We have tried for several months to resolve the issues that Pickles has caused with our neighbors, but now the best course is to find him a new loving home. Any help would be appreciated!

Story
Hi. With a heavy heart I am looking to rehome Crash. I adopted him at an Austin animal shelter in 2012. I divorced my wife a couple of years ago and currently take care of our 4 and 9 year old boys 50% of the time. I’m always really really busy and can’t give him very much attention besides just feeding him and cleaning the litter box. I’m looking for the new home to be loving and nurturing. He loves to play with toys and run around the house. He also loves to have his fur brushed. Adjectives to describe him would be playful, sleepy, and loving (minus small children). He doesn’t seem to care for small children (he just steers clear), but he’s not mean and has never harmed children or adults. He’s been a good cat, but I think he’d be happier in a home where he receives more attention. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Story
**2 CATS** I first found Girl Cat and Boy Cat in 2021 back in North Carolina. They have been great cats, very affectionate, very playful, and Ive had no issues with their bathroom etiquette, or destroying of furniture. Occasionally they do bite chords if not played with and they are bored. They handled the move to Texas great and adjusted just fine to the new apartment. I tried to get them into going on walks with a leash but they dont really like going outside, more so just watching from the window or sunbeds. This year, I moved into a house with my girlfriend and her two Aussies. It has been a very hectic few months and despite repeated and prolonged attempts at integration, there has been no progress. Both the cats and dogs will charge each other, lunge, and attempt to attack. We have them separated by floor with a gate when not trying to integrate them, but it is becoming a burden on our relationship and the source of many a fight. Its also not fair to lock them up anymore.

Story
Finnegan is looking for a home, potentially one he can still explore the outdoors, but is also content just being indoors. He has been residing in my neighborhood and got into a fight that gave him a pretty bad eye injury. I took him in to provide medical care. He has been neutered, rabies shot and on flee prevention. His eye ulcer has healed but he does seem to have feline herpes that irritates his eye. I cannot keep him as my cats are not keen to a new housemate so he’s back outside. He was great with my cats. He loves to snuggle and is very playful. He does bite me (not very hard) when I leave him to go inside. He may need a little time to learn proper etiquette.
