Story
Mowgli was adopted as a kitten from the Little Elm animal shelter about 3 years ago. His original name was Chief but I didn't find that fitting so we changed it to Mowgli. Mowgli is the kind of cat that wants your attention. Not the kind of cat that could care less if you exist and just wants food. He's very loving and very loyal to the person who loves him. Every morning when I get up for work and put my shoes on, he lays on my feet in an effort to plead with me not to leave him. If you'd like the kind of cat that wants your love and attention, Mowgli would be right for you. He was been a fixture of my family for a while but with a new baby it's just not working out and he's not getting the attention and love that he deserves and needs, so we are looking for someone who can do that. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. He gets along with other cats, after the normal acclimation window for all cats. He's good with kids. He's very well house trained. He's just a good cat

Story
Lucky is sweet and very mischievous. He was born a barn cat, and we adopted him after he was surrendered. He has been living in our new motorhome with us, but there's not enough space for him to roam around and cat around.

Story
Loki is very sweet and cuddly. Loves to sleep and eat. Prefers a quiet home. Unable to keep him due to pregnancy and baby. This has been an extremely hard decision as we have had him for 8 years. I would love to see him going to a loving person or family who will care for him.

Story
Hi meet Birdie! Birdie is sweet, quirky, and talkative lil lady. Her favorite things are comfy beds (in boxes especially) and bird-watching. She also loves head scratches and morning cuddles! I adopted birdie about 2 years ago when i first moved out. She is so special to me, but i can no longer provide the best home for her. I adopted two other cats about 6 months after i adopted her. When the other two were kittens it was fine, but as they got older she started getting more stressed out. About 6 weeks ago she started fighting with them pretty aggressively, so I had to separate them. I’ve tried re-introducing them to her but there hasn’t been any progress. She has been so much happier and calmer since secluding her from my other pets. I really love her, but know that she’ll live a better life in a home without other pets. Other things to note: -She HATES crates, so it’s hard to move her around (vet visits/moves/etc). I have a vet prescribed sedative that helps!

Story
We are looking for a home for a beautiful sweet 3-1/2 yo grey tabby. This cat belonged to a student who was unable to find her a home before moving out of the country in January. Sadly, our oldest female cat regards Misty as an interloper. Despite our best efforts and experience bringing cats together, we cannot keep her. Misty is very neat, loving, and focused on humans. She loves wet and dry food, plus treats!! She drinks fresh water from the faucet and can be very talkative. She was raised as a single cat from 8 weeks, so is not clear on cat dynamics. In trying to introduce her, she has been unable to understand normal cat “cues.” For instance, when our older cat tries to signal “leave me alone, I want to get on my tree,” Misty will sit in the way and stare, leading to conflict. Too many examples to share. It has been months. The cats keep fighting and Misty is becoming skittish and defensive. She needs a quiet, single pet home to return to her placid self.

Story
This is Boobie, she’s a 2 1/2 year old tortoise shell kitty! Unfortunately needing to rehome Boobie due to conflict with other cat in the house. Despite this, she is very sweet and loves human interaction and is super social and talkative! She was rescued as a kitten and has been with me ever since, because of this, she may need some time to adjust to a new living situation. She’s an inside kitty, litter box trained, and has been spayed. She loves people and warms up to guests quickly! She is frightened with loud noises or lots of commotion, but is easily calmed with reassurance and love, Boobie would thrive in a home without any other animals. Will provide her favorite toys and cat pan if needed.
