Wave has been with me since he was a tiny kitten. He is now 6 years old, and we have been through everything together college, moving to new cities, and finally coming back home to Virginia. He has been a loyal companion. When he was young, I adopted another kitten, and over the years Wave has shown that he really prefers to be the only pet in a home. He can become stressed and territorial around other cats, and despite years of trying different methods, it is clear that he is happiest when he has his person all to himself. He deserves a home where he doesnt have to feel overwhelmed or compete for attention. Wave loves attention, enjoys being nearby, and thrives when he can bond closely with his owner. He would do best with someone who can give him time, love, and a calm environment without other pets. Rehoming him is a very emotional decision, but I want him to be peaceful

Lila is a sweet, snuggly, playful tuxedo cat who loves to sit in a window and watch the birds and squirrels all day. She enjoys jumping around boxes or chasing a toy across the floor. I've had her for 3 years and have watched her grow into a big snugglebug when she used to be more timid! She loves to be close by her person and follows me around from the moment I wake up to the minute I am in bed at night. She even sits in my lap as I read or work! Unfortunately, she just does not get along with my two other cats. Lila is bigger than they are, so her playing can get faster and rougher. She loves lots of attention and affection and wants to be the center of it all.

Donna is gorgeous and she loves a good conversation! She makes great eye contact, and listens carefully. She wants to please, and she's not a cat to ignore you or pretend she doesn't care. She cares! Donna will bond with you and see you as her protector and friend. She enjoys being petted and given attention.  She was assaulted by a cat years ago and is still wary. She has a private room here and we would like her to be an only cat or to have lots of space and her own eating area.     We want to make adopting easy for you! During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) Princess Peach is a sweet and petite cat and loves to be around us. She is good with kids, dogs and other cats, but probably would benefit from being by herself for her owners. She loves to cuddle on the couch. She is litterbox trained and up to date on shots. Sweet little personality and loves to talk. Has only been an inside cat. She was born in July 2023.
