Story
Shadow and her sisters, along with an elderly step-uncle, came to live here after friends were unable to take them to a new rental home. She is around a year old and lives for snuggles. While she has had next to no exposure to dogs, she gets along well with her siblings and the cat-in-residence (another elderly gentleman). I'm hoping to find her a home where she will get lots of pets and conversation. I would not recommend her to a home with someone who uses a cane or walker, as she does enjoy rubbing against ankles and can get underfoot. She has only been here a few months and has gotten much better about minding personal space. Shadow is tolerant of young children (10 and 7) and appreciates their attention.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocket Rescue has adult cats that are seeking a barn or shop situation. These cats are not very social with people and would prefer a “working cat” life with food and shelter. If you have a barn, shop - or even better a heated space for one or more strong, silent types, please let us know! We will help you set up an acclimation space and provide tips on barn cat care. We currently have males and females available. These cats deserve a safe space with support from caring people.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 1:36 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm just a big handsome dude looking for my forever home. I'm just two years old and a real sucker for pets and loving. Pet me in just the right spot and I'll even drool a bit. I was left behind and when my house sold the new owners couldn't keep me. I get it, they already had their own cats..but I'm hoping there's someone out there who is short a cat. I need to be indoor only since I tested positive for FIV but I have a long life ahead of me. Cats with FIV can live into their teens so don't let that put you off. You can read more about FIV here: https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs And you should apply for me here (please don't wait):  https://www.rocketrescue.org/forms/form?formid=5196Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 1:36 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Looking for a 12 week old kitten to cuddle? I'm in the market for a family and I won't demand much. I would like to be indoors only with lots of snacks and toys. I LOVE other cats so that would be cool too. I'm super playful and I can entertain myself, but a companion would be perfect. I have the most amazing bulls-eye markings on my coat so I'm going to be a handsome fellow. I'm not much of a lap cat right now, but I'm just a busy kitten so you will have to give me time. I can be timid at first, but I'm way too curious to stay shy for long. I am litter box trained and ready to go home today!  You can apply for me here so my agent can make plans: https://www.rocketrescue.org/forms/form?formid=5196Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 1:36 pm

Story
Morty and Millie are a bonded pair! Morty is an absolute HOOT! He's very talkative, cuddly and overall acts more like a dog than anything. I've had them both since they were kittens! Millie will be 4 in August and Morty will be 4 in September! Millie is a "mini cat" at just 7lbs! Morty loves human food and begs like a dog, he especially loves meat, pretzels and anything crunchy. Morty will cuddle you at night and often bring you crunchy plastic treasures. Millie will cuddle you and give you kisses and greet you at the front door. They both love to play and are very active. Morty has been named "The Coolest Cat I've Ever Met" by all of my friends and family. Millie had earned her own title of the "Sweetest Kitty Ever" Unfortunately, I'm having to move into a very small space and I can't take them with me. I really don't want to see them go, and would really love to stay in touch with their new family!! If you have any questions, please let me know!

Story
I got stormy some time ago from the Seattle Humane shelter in Bellevue after big life changing events. Newly single I needed something to take care of and I did not want to be completely alone. I've given her a great life but it took time to establish a bond. I've now recently moved in with my future wife and the allergies are unbearable. It's been a very difficult decision process.
