Story
Esme is a sweet senior cat, approximately 12 year old. Her human companion passed away recently and she is very lonely. She's been the sole companion of her human for some years and gets a little anxious when other cats or dogs are introduced. She loves to sit on your lap or climb under the covers with you. Long naps in the sun are her main hobby. Occasional outings on the deck or to the end of side walk. But they don't last long. She's a dedicated indoor cat. Her human's extended family would love to bring her to their home, but allergies sadly preclude that. Her health was looked after by Hadlock Veterinary Clinic and all records are available to whoever adopts Esme. Her human left a modest stipend to cover ongoing vet check ups. We're hoping a suitable situation arises for Esme soon.

Annie is a calm little baby. Chubby and really adorable. Even though she is a kitten, she is quite calm, she often plays with other kittens, but prefers to be up on her tower, sunbathing through the window or resting on a big bed. He can spend hours purring in your lap! All of our cats have been raised, and kept, as indoor cats. They prefer the indoors and we prefer that for them. Story
Shadow is black with a white chest patch, white bikini-like markings on her underbelly, and one white back toe. She came to stay here when friends were unable to have pets in a new rental home. She is around a year old and lives for snuggles. While she has had next to no exposure to dogs, she gets along well with her other cats in the house. I'm hoping to find her a home where she will get lots of pets and conversation. I would not recommend her to a home with someone who uses a cane or walker, as she does enjoy rubbing against ankles and can get underfoot. She has only been here a few months and has gotten much better about minding personal space. Shadow is tolerant of young children (10 and 7) and appreciates their attention.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rocket Rescue has adult cats that are seeking a barn or shop situation. These cats are not very social with people and would prefer a “working cat” life with food and shelter. If you have a barn, shop - or even better a heated space for one or more strong, silent types, please let us know! We will help you set up an acclimation space and provide tips on barn cat care. We currently have males and females available. These cats deserve a safe space with support from caring people.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 8, 2024, 9:54 pm

Story
Hello everyone! This is Benjamin. He is about 3 years old. He is a very good lap cat who loves to snuggle up to you and sit on your lap! He does good with other cats and dogs but I think he would benefit in a home where he is the only animal. He is housed trained and used to being an indoor cat.
