Story
Hi, my name is Avril. My birthday is September 23rd. During the warmer days my friends let me have a pool. I love the water, especially when it is super hot! I love lounging around in my pool, playing with my kennel mate Beckett, and trading loving for some treats. I have some energy and like to play, but mostly I like just napping. I would love a good lap to lay on.

Story
Johnny is a big beefy dog looking for a big beefy guy (or gal) to pal around with! Throw on your matching tank tops and do your workouts together (you're sure to turn heads), followed by a long session tossing the ball around (he never passed a ball he didn't want to pick up), followed by maybe some weight lifting (he'll be your squatty spotter), followed by...yes, you guessed it, Johnny is all go! He's a bit of a freight train on leash and just enough of a bowling ball to knock over small kids, so an adult-only, active, breed aware home is going to be the best fit. Johnny is not compatible with other animals, so make sure you are going to the private gym (not to be mistaken with the dog park).  Est DOB:  Oct 2017 * Est weight: 75# March 7, 2026, 12:01 pm

Story
If you like to set up obstacle courses on your 'back 40' and want a dog able to compete alongside you...Katrina has you covered! Katrina is fearless and limitless when it comes to jumping, climbing, walking a balance beam, or anything really that is between 'Katrina' and 'where Katrina wants to be.' In return for your really, really great fence or commitment to leash walks, you get a constantly-wiggling, super-loving girl with a fantastic smile and a world-class head tilt. She also enjoys water sports - got a hose or water gun? She'll entertain herself and you nonstop!! - and car rides. Katrina loves all people but precisely zero non-people (she is a devoted only pet with no dog park potential at all). Please contact the shelter if Katrina sounds like your next BFF.   Est DOB: Nov 2014  * Est weight: 50# * Breed unknown - guess based on looksMarch 7, 2026, 12:01 pm

Story
Livewire is a beautiful female Staffordshire Terrier with a heart as big as her smile. In late 2022, she was removed from her previous home by the sheriff’s department, and it took two long years for her neglect case to be resolved. During that time, Livewire was placed in a loving foster home where she received excellent care and learned how to be the well-mannered, affectionate young lady she is today. Livewire will thrive as a family dog, kept mostly indoors with access to a securely fenced yard for playtime. She loves people and will do well with children aged 6 and older. Playtime is her favorite—she enjoys a good game of fetch, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She will do best as the only dog in the home and is not suited for a home with cats. Livewire is ready to leave her past behind and find a forever family who will love her for the sweet, loyal companion she is.

Story
This sweet girl has had it rather rough.  The only real break she has gotten -  good people found her and they cared enough to get her to safety.  She was  heartworm postivie,   AND she had a fractured leg.  Her heartworom treatment is complete and her leg is totally healed.    She is sweet and happy and very playful.   She loves toys and chew bones and is crazy about a ball!!!!!!   We are happy to report that she gets along well with other dogs.  When we first took her in, she was dog reactive: we've tested and retested and seems her days in shelter have given her confidence not to be nervous around other pups.   ##2565697##

Story
Meet Lux! A 15 month old, male pure bred American Staffordshire Terrier. A breed known for deep loyalty to their family, smart and physically & mentally active. Lux is being re-homed through no fault of his own. His family of 5 lead extremely busy lives and Lux is stuck in his crate/kennel, bored and sad. His family wants him to enjoy life with an owner(s) who will spend time with him. He could use more leash training and basic commands to temper his puppy energy. Lux is neutered, up to date on all vaccines. He is on monthly heartworm/flea & tick prevention. Lux is full of smiles and love just aching to share with you. He needs experienced owners who can handle his size and energy. He gets playful and can accidentally knock down young kids. He is so silly and loving and will make a great, loyal pet for the right family.
