Story
This sweet young pup is out of the shelter and settling into a foster home, where he`s been showing off his affectionate and playful personality!Fab Boy spent the first part of his life in one home, where he was reportedly great with older kids and other dogs. He was described as housebroken, crate trained, cuddly, and full of love for toys and snacks. While the shelter was a little overwhelming for him at first, he worked hard to be brave and quickly became a volunteer favorite. Here’s what some of his shelter friends had to say:“Fab Boy was shy to be leashed, but once outside, he was affectionate and playful with his kennelmate. He gave kisses, enjoyed attention, and warmed up quickly.” “He did great on our walk—loved being pet on his back, and took treats very gently with a soft mouth.”Now in a foster home, Fab Boy continues to shine! Foster Home Highlights:• House-trained & crate-trained• Quiet – he rarely barks• Loves all kinds of toys, especially stuffed and squeaky ones• Sleeps in his crate and does great when left alone• Respectful of the resident dog’s space – he may do best with another playful pup friend• Can be shy at first, but warms up into a curious, affectionate, and energetic companion. He loves to sit in your lap!Fab Boy is looking for a home with a little space to stretch out and play, and someone who will be patient as he continues to gain confidence. He’s a very good boy with lots of love to give and would thrive in a home that can keep up with his puppy energy.Interested in learning more about Fab Boy or setting up a meet-and-greet? Story
Oreo is a sweet and affectionate girl who, at four years old, is a great age- the crazy puppy antics are behind her and she still has many years left to love! Her volunteer friends say that she is easy to handle, wiggly, and perfectly chunky! Double-stuffed, if you will, but that just means there’s more to love!Unfortunately, Oreo was surrendered to the shelter when her family’s landlord would not allow them to keep her. Her former family reported that she got along with other big dogs and was a playful girl who always wanted to be by her person’s side. She’s looking forward to being welcomed indoors in her future home and being given time and patience to learn all of the indoor doggy skills! Oreo is a field trip and pawjama party favorite who has gotten rave reviews! “Oreo is such a calm and sweet girl. Very much along for the ride - she loved looking out the car window. She also loved people watching at the brewery and being outside. She warms up quickly and is very loving. She`s a sucker for treats!”“Miss Oreo was a perfect princess today. She loves pets and cuddles and all of the attention. She is super friendly and is good on the leash. Super sweet dog!”“Oreo did awesome! She loves to smell everything while going on a walk, but is very good on the leash. She is very calm and liked to sit/lay near me when we were taking a break. Very good in the car and liked to lay down and look out the windows.”Oreo is energetic and loves treats and attention. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake, and spin. Very food motivated and so sweet. Very well house trained. Good walker and loves to be with people.”Oreo been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She is looking for a home without young kiddos. If you’re looking to add a mellow, sweet and charming girl to your pack, come and meet Oreo today!

Story
It’s heating up in the Old Pueblo and for a lot of us that means moving slower, spending less time outside, shorter walks, and more time on the couch with our pack. If you’re looking to add an incredible mature gal to join your lazy days, we think Marley Irie might be a perfect match!Marley’s volunteer friends love spending time with this easy senior sweetie, sharing the following:“Marley Irie is so sweet and gentle. She’s easy to leash, no pulling, and non-reactive to other dogs. She loves chilling in a play yard with her kennelmate, enjoying fresh air and sunshine. What a perfect girl!”“Marley is a spry and very friendly senior who still has short bursts of pep in her step but is probably not suited for long marathons. She’s easy to leash and handle, does well meeting new people, and does great with her kennel mate. She’s young at heart but aging in terms of stamina.”Marley has shared her kennel politely with a couple of different PACC pups and has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you’re totally over having a wild and crazy puppy and are on the lookout for a calm and well-mannered very good dog, we know that you’ll absolutely love Marley Irie! She’s ready to go home with you today!
