Story
Hey there, everyone! I'm Giblet, and I'm here to introduce myself. I'm a lively 4-year-old pup who was fortunate to be saved from PACC. My journey has brought me here, and I'm hoping to find my forever home soon. Here are a few things you should know about me: I do quite well in play groups with other dogs, but a proper introduction is essential to ensure we get off on the right paw. I've got loads of energy to spare, so I'm looking for a home that can keep up with my active spirit. An active household would be the perfect fit for me. I'm eager to embark on new adventures, make memories, and share my love with a forever family. If you're seeking a fun-loving and energetic companion, I might just be the one you've been looking for. If you think we could be the perfect match, please complete an application to set up a meet-and-greet. I can't wait to meet my future family and start our wonderful journey together! Let's make this the beginning of an amazing chapter in my life! Adoption application: https://bit.ly/44dKWUv Foster application: WE provide food, supplies and vet care. YOU provide a loving home! Story
Hello there, wonderful people! I'm Channing, a dashing 3-year-old boy, and I'm here to steal your heart! I may not have graced the silver screen, but I promise to be the star of your life! I've been in the loving care of Lucy's Hope since June 2022 when they rescued me from death row. That's 446 days of patiently waiting for my forever family! Can you believe it? I mean, just look at this face - who could resist me?! While I've been safe and sound thanks to the amazing folks here, I'm ready for a place to call my very own forever home. Here's a bit more about me: About Me: Personality: I'm a gentle yet strong boy, and I have so much love to give. Ideal Home: I would thrive as the only pet in the house and do best in an adult-only home or with older, respectful kids due to my size. Hobbies: I'm a fan of long walks and I have this giant ball that I adore pushing around like a bull in a china shop. It's so much fun! How You Can Help: 1 Share this post: Let's make sure my forever family finds me! 2 Reach Out: If you're interested in adopting me or just want to meet me, please send a message. I can't wait to meet you! 3 Donate: Your support helps my rescue continue caring for pups like me who are searching for their forever homes. I may not have a Hollywood star on my collar, but I promise to bring endless love, joy, and adventure into your life. Let's make this happy ending come true! Questions or want to know more about me? Feel free to message - I'm ready to meet my forever family!

Story
Ajax is a handsome, shy guy who has spent a long time in the shelter waiting for a family of his own. When you aren’t comfortable with people right off the bat, it’s that much harder to convince a family that you’re the one for them. In fact, Ajax often spends much of his time on the back side of his kennel where the public can’t even see him, because it’s quieter and less overwhelming for him there. This long stay resident needs a special family who can see that he’s deserving of a loving home. Ajax has spent time in both a foster home and, briefly, an adoptive home. He was housebroken and would wait by the door to let his people know he needed a bio break and slept near his person at night. He was also reportedly crate trained and was working on being comfortable walking on leash with a Gentle Leader. That home didn’t turn out to be the right fit, so Ajax returned to the shelter where he’s been waiting… and waiting… and… you got it. Waiting. An ideal home for this special guy will be one with people who will be patient as he settles in and who will continue to work with him on training and socialization. He’ll do best in a quiet environment without constant visitor traffic (or one where he has a safe space of his own to relax when people come over). Will he be the snuggliest, cuddliest dog you could ever imagine the first night you bring him home? Nope- and that’s ok!!! Let him be himself and come around in his own time.“When I first met Ajax, I gave him a few treats in his kennel to get to know him. Once out, he is a good boy to walk. As time has passed, he is more comfortable with me. I often walk him to the picnic table in the shade and he enjoys a head massage and pets. He enjoys treats too. We go on different routes and he likes to stop and sniff along the way.”- PACC volunteer`Ajax is a nervous boy, but he allows petting. He`s easy to leash up and overall is a very sweet boy.` – PACC volunteerWhen meeting other dogs in playgroup, Ajax was nervous and preferred to keep to himself. He`d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it`s a good fit. Please ask about how you can help Ajax today!

Story
Penny is a spunky, quirky, happy 9 yr old spayed female brindle & white English Bull Terrier. She is petite in height but true to her breed traits, strong, feisty but very affectionate. She really enjoys her human companionship so she would do best in. a home that has someone there most of the time. She can be goofy and comical, mischievous, playful and sometimes stubborn but very endearing. She loves, loves, loves toys, especially when you are interacting. Because she loves toys so much and wants to be the queen of them all, we recommend no young children and she should be the only dog as she is not a fan of sharing and does not like other dogs. She was adopted out in March, 2020 but her owner who lived alone, became very sick. He described her as adorable and a great companion. Penny does have some ear issues and will likely require ongoing medication to manage this. Penny loves to laze around and although she enjoys walks, she is a home body and prefers to be indoors in her bed or cuddling on the couch. She is housetrained and good in the home. She would like a family who will provide her all the comforts of home and prefers not to be crated, but would rather curl up nicely in her own bed or cuddle up next to you. Penny is current on all shots, spayed and microchipped.
