Story
Gaia is a calm, friendly girl who thrives on affection and gives sweet, gentle kisses. Unimpressed by toys, Gaia is more interested in treats and human interaction. She prefers chilling in the play-yard over going for walks, and she adores basking in the sunshine. But she does walk pretty well on the leash. She knows the "sit" command and is treat-motivated, so she should learn new commands easily. She does well with other dogs, cats, and even kids! She's currently in foster with a cat, dog, and young child and she's amazingly wonderful with all of them. She has exhibited some separation anxiety, but it was quickly resolved once the foster brought her another foster dog to play. Her shy, somewhat nervous demeanor became calm and confident once she had another dog to care for; her foster brother is a very stressed timid pit bull and she's enjoying showing him how to be a dog. She's really come out of her shell since being fostered. Gaia's fur is velvety soft, and she loves nothing more than to snuggle. If you're looking for a loving, mild-mannered pup to curl up next to you on the couch, then Gaia is your girl! Her adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, and vaccinations, including rabies. If you think Gaia might be your next best friend, head to our website at www.hsnb.org and fill out an adoption interest form. Story
My name is Ninja, and I am 6 years old. I’m a loving girl who likes to go with the flow. I was rescued 3 years ago from the Martinez shelter where they had me listed as very timid, and was on the euth list. Luckily, I was adopted on the spot when my dad and I met. We bonded instantly! Check out my pictures, I’m pretty darn cute and my eyes are so soulful. I’ve learned a lot since I was adopted, but due to the pandemic and a forced move, my dad is not able to provide me the home I deserve. My dad says I’m an awesome dog and the best companion ever! I’m pretty much down for anything you want to do. I like lots of things like running, walking, hiking or just relaxing at home. I ride really well in a car and just get comfortable in my spot. I’m just happy being with my person. I’m great with kids over 12 years old. I get pretty stressed living with other animals and I would be happiest in a home as an only pet. My dad says I am a super quick learner, know many commands and am eager to please. I’m in great shape and health, spayed, up to date on all my shots and even covered with pet health insurance. I bond quickly and I am looking for a new guardian who has the time for a friend. Love me and let me know everything is going to be okay and in return you will get the best companion ever! My dad says he will help with the transition. If you’d like to meet me, please contact Jacob at 415-596-0646 or jacobpessah@yahoo.com. Application, home check and adoption fee required.
