Story
Location: Long Beach, CA (Transports to other states possible-email us) Introducing.... Kismet, he is a smooshy love bug, 4.5 years old, and small at 35 lbs. All this guy wants is to be your cuddle buddy. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and playful, just anxious and doesn't like small dogs and is a bit scared by strangers. If you let him come to you, on his terms, you will be lifelong buddies. He is not a fan of strangers putting their hands over the fence in his yard. Too many in his neighborhood like to do that, to tease him. A new small dog moved into Kismet's home, and he is NOT happy. The two dogs cannot get along. They fight too much. The small dog has to stay, so Kismet needs a new home. He does board with a trainer and she has never had any issues with him and says he hasn't had any issues with the other dogs that have been there. He just doesn't care for this small dog in the home. He has had a health check and there are no health issues. Kis was adopted from another rescue organization in 2021, they have since closed their doors, so Save The Dals is trying to help this sweet boy get a new home. Is this little hunk of love for you? Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Biscuit &#226&#156&#168 Biscuit’s journey is nothing short of a miracle. She was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter, just hours away from being euthanized simply because she had been there too long. Originally listed as 2 years old, a veterinarian later confirmed she was actually only about 8 months old at the time—her playful puppy energy makes perfect sense! She’s now about 1 year old and ready for her forever home. Biscuit is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being with people and will happily follow you around as your little shadow. She has plenty of playful energy and is eager to learn. She’s already made big progress on her manners, though she sometimes still jumps up for attention in the most innocent way. With continued training, she’ll only get better. On walks, Biscuit can be reactive toward other dogs, but this comes from insecurity rather than aggression—consistent training and guidance will help her build confidence. The best part? Biscuit is already potty trained, spayed, and microchipped. She’s a loving, loyal, silly girl who just needs someone to believe in her. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion to share your days with, Biscuit is waiting to meet you. If interested in meeting Biscuit please contact foster: Diana- Drios79@hotmail.com (909)210-3517September 3, 2025, 10:37 pm

Meet Zeus – Your Gentle, Loyal Companion! Zeus is a sweet, calm, and loving boy who’s ready to find his forever home. Estimated to be around 4–5 years old and weighing about 55–60 lbs, Zeus was rescued in 2023 and has since blossomed into the most affectionate companion you could ask for. He’s amazing with kids, incredibly gentle with cats, and has done wonderfully around other dogs—especially when introduced with care. Zeus has a mellow personality and absolutely loves lounging in the sun, napping in the grass, and soaking up cuddles and belly rubs. He’s super food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! Zeus is currently thriving on a mix of dry food and Fresh Pet. He does have hip dysplasia, but it doesn’t slow him down—especially with his daily supplements (Welactin and Dasuquin) to keep him feeling his best. This sweet soul is looking for a loving, patient home where he’ll be cherished. If you're ready to open your heart to a loyal, sunshine-loving cuddle bug, Zeus is your guy.July 9, 2025, 2:49 am

Story
Dusty is a cuddle bug. He just wants to soak up all your attention. Dusty loves to be chased by other dogs at the dog park. He has a low to moderate energy level. He's not interested in fetch, but loves to play with toys. Dusty thoroughly enjoys walks, car rides, puzzles, dog toys, and bully sticks. Dusty does well with kids of all ages. It would be best if he is the only dog. He would also thrive in a household with a larger, more dominant dog who is fixed. Dusty knows how to sit and stay. He is house-trained and crate trained. He has fantastic leash manners. He gets mouthy when understimulated so he loves to nibble on you. It's a sign he's ready for a walk! He has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccines. Medically, he seems to have allergies that cause itching, scratching, skin rashes, and redness in his groin area. We manage this by feeding him lamb and giving him baths every 2 weeks. If you would like to meet this sweet boy please contact his Foster Jaimie 818-523-8948 garcia.jaimieb@gmail.comNovember 29, 2025, 11:55 pm

Story
Age: 2y Gender: Male Breed: Pocket Bully mix Weight: 40 Personality: He’s chill and a couch potato about 90% of the day. The other 10% he likes to run around the backyard and get his zoomies out and play with his dog friends. Boogie LOVES food and will eat anything and everything you give him, he’s a literal garbage disposal. He needs to be fed in a slow feeder so he doesn’t throw up his food from eating so fast because he likes to inhale his food. He should be fed separately away from any other dogs or else he WILL try to eat their food too. Friendliness: Dogs: Yes Cats: Yes Kids: Yes Education: Bathroom in training, crate trained, leash trained (but does pull slightly initially from excitement) Favorite Activities: FOOD! Walks around the block, car rides, cuddling and snuggling, giving kisses, belly scratches, ripping up empty boxes, KIDS! He loves kids almost as much as he loves food! Looking For: Boogie would do great in any type of household. He really loves his humans and especially kids and loves to be with his people as much as possible. He’s fully crate trained and has zero separation anxiety so he could definitely be ok with a working family too, as long as they promise to cuddle and spoil him when they’re home. Due to his breed, he can’t and shouldn’t go for super long and strenuous walks or hikes, but Boogie is always down for an adventure, he loves going places! He does great in the car and just loves being around people, especially if he gets belly rubs in the process. He’s great at bars and restaurants and loves the attention, so if you’re looking for a buddy you can take everywhere with you, Boogie is your boy! Special Needs: None If you’re looking for a lovable sidekick you can take just about anywhere, look no further – I’m your guy!  My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.   ##2613955##

Story
Age: 1y4m Gender: Male Breed: Micro Bulldog mix Weight: 34 Personality: Super sweet and very low maintenance. He is so chill! It takes some time for him to warm up to new people, but once the trust is earned, he becomes very playful and affectionate. Friendliness: Dogs: No Cats: No Kids: No Education: Mostly Potty Trained, getting better by the day, and getting better at leash training Favorite Activities: He loves human attention, is very food motivated, and loves to play with his toys. He can play independently but loves a good game of tug-a-war with his people, too. Looking For: A loving and patient home who understands him and his breed requirements. He will need an adult-only home who are respectful of space, and help redirect him when needed. No cats please! Special Needs: Taking Prozac (~$5 for a month’s supply. Price depends on where purchased and market value) to help manage anxiety and fixation on objects while he continues his training.
