Story
This beautiful 2Y 5M old Staffordshire Terrier Mix is looking for her forever home. Romina is very sweet, affectionate and loves children. She was rescued from the banks of a stream at the age of 3 months, after being in our shelter for a while she was moved to a foster home. She eats 2 times per day: kibble with canned food and she likes Kirkland cookies very much. Romina knows how to walk on a leash and likes car rides. She likes noisy toys and she sleeps indoors in her kennel as is housebroken. Her ideal home would be one where she is pampered and spoiled. Meet Oreo, a loving and sweet 3 years old little dog. She can be shy at first, but will warm up within minutes and then she is all over you showering you with kisses. Ore is cat friendly. She is also great with children and is comfortable with dogs that are not smaller than she is. Ore is leash-friendly and enjoys car rides. It would be great for Ore to find a family with teenagers, as she is very energetic and loves to play with toys, stuffed animals and ropes. Ideally, she should live in a place with a patio. She is in the process of being house-trained. If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet, please see the contact info below. Breed: American StaffyAge: 8 years oldWeight: 40 lbsPersonality: -has vision issues (possibly a recent thing) and if you move to quick, can get defensive. Once she sniffs/licks you she’s fine. -LOVES to sleep in bed with people and doesn’t move an inch -has had some sort of Trauma at some point and is learning to trust again (if you know the breed, they typically bounce back quickly. She is taking a bit). After 3 weeks with Babs she play bows and wiggles when she runs around the house. -*caution* she WILL weasel her way into your heart really quickly. -ok in a crate (might do better on a consistent potty schedule with the crate)   Flight Risk: do not leave unattended in a yard, crate training is a must when you are gone, tight grip on the leash is a must on adventures. Story
No sad days with Sadie! Hey everyone! My name is Sadie, and since I have a bunch of namesakes here, let’s call me Sadie the Boxer, or Sadie 3. I am a 3 year old, 63 lb spayed female Boxer mix. My previous family lost their housing and had to give me up, so here I am at my foster home, waiting to find my new family! I am the full package - potty trained, crate trained, and love having new people come over. I’m generally well behaved on walks. Sometimes if I see dogs on leash, I will pull towards them, but I have been working hard on this and with just a little guidance I walk right on by! I enjoy walks on trails, at the beach, and around the neighborhood. Let's have an adventure together!I am a sweet and goofy gal, and am great at matching my energy to yours. Want to go on a jog? I’m up for it! Need to skip walks entirely today? That’s fine, as long as we get to cuddle instead! My boxer energy comes out with a few bouts of goofy play a day, but I mostly enjoy lounging about. I am a true lap dog, regardless of my size. I love snuggling up to my foster parents and falling asleep tucked against their side or with my chin on their leg. Sometimes I even crawl under the blankets at night. At the same time, I’m not overly clingy and can hang out alone without an issue. I do well with all sorts of human guests coming over; I love a good party! I’m generally uncomfortable around other dogs in the home and would do best as the only pup. I don’t have experience with cats or kids yet.I would do well in a wide variety of home set ups. While I do love a good sunbathing session in the yard, I don’t need a yard; as long as I get a couple walks to get out and sniff I am happy. I promise to keep you laughing with my goofy antics, and you’ll never be without a cuddle buddy as long as I’m around. My behavior on leash has greatly improved since I first went to foster, so it would be great if my forever family continues to reinforce calm behavior around other dogs. My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/. ##1698852##

Story
She’s a golden girl! Oh, hay! I mean– hey! My name is Palomino. Just like the beautiful golden horses, I have a heart of gold and the energy to match! I’m a 2-year-old, 49-pound spayed shepherd mix. I previously had surgery on my left hip for hip dysplasia and now I’m galloping with the best of them! I was originally rescued from Los Adoptables south of the border. Now that I’ve trotted on up to the States, I can’t wait to find a stable... I mean, a loving home of my own! I’m a total sweetheart who gets along with other doggos, kiddos, and grown-ups alike. Sometimes I prefer a slow intro to males, but once I warm up, we’re buds. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure what I think about them. I can be very playful and love car rides, my toys, walks, and going on adventures. I can also be a laid-back lady who likes relaxing for some cuddles. I’m a happy, loyal girl who loves being wherever my people are. I’m a well-behaved gal, especially when treats are on the line! I’m bathroom and leash-trained, but I’m not a big fan of the crate. I get a little separation anxiety, nothing too dramatic, and prefer being part of the pack. I’m a great listener and could even see myself as a therapy dog. I have a heart bigger than a horse! My easy-going, lovable pawsonality makes me a great pup for anyone from an active couple to a growing family. I could be with or without other pups– as long as I have my people nearby, some cuddles, and playtime, I’ll be riding high! If I sound like the perfect NEIGHbor (more like roommate) let’s giddy up and meet up! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/   ##1762387##
