He behaves very well house trains gets along extremely well with humans and does very well with dogs as long as the other dog is not dominating, I don’t want him to go anywhere. Gus has been with our family for a little over a year now. Unfortunately I have become severely allergic to him and therefore we are unable to be his forever home. He loves to play fetch and chase, run outside and is a huge cuddle bug. He is house trained, crate trained and is working on leash training. He knows a few simple commands and is learning more every day as his confidence grows. We have also been working on his self confidence and socialization as he is pretty much a big scaredy cat. He has been living with a 14 year old and is amazing around her and her friends, however due to his skittishness, he will probably be best suited in a calmer household with no young children or other pets. He has a huge heart and wants nothing more than to hang out, cuddle and play with his people. Please reach out with any questions or for additional photos. While she can be excitable, she wants nothing more than attention from those she loves. Tonka knows basic commands and walks well on the leash once her initial excitement over the prospect of going for a walk diminishes. She's looking for a quiet retirement home. Hi! My name is Pogo, I’m a young boxer mix puppy (my friends think.) I was found in northern Alabama with a really bad leg wound, and missing my foot. My friends up there cared for me until I could transfer to Ewenity Farms here in Florida. I am currently undergoing treatment for an infection, and then I will need another surgery to remove more of my leg so I can live comfortably. I will spend my recovery with my foster family until I am ready for my new home. They’re saying I’ll be a bigger boy (40ish lbs) once I’m full grown. My friends don’t know exactly what happened to me, but it has not affected my outlook on life. I love other dogs, cats, adults, kids, and even all of my new friends at the vet office! My foster mom says I’m an expert snuggler and treat connoisseur. I love playing with my toys (the noisier the better!), foster brothers (wrestling and tug are so much fun!), sunbathing, and exploring everything! I am still a puppy, and working on my big dog skills, like house training, crate training, and not stealing my foster mom’s socks. She says when they are on her feet they’re hers and gives me other toys to distract me (I don’t quite agree, but I’m still learning.) I love to express my opinions on everything, and would really love a home with a backyard for me to run around in. My foster mom says I might be a bit too noisy for apartment living, I just have big ideas and thoughts that need to be shared! I’m not a fan of being left alone yet, I really love being with my people and friends. My foster mom started me in puppy school, since she says we’ll be hanging out for a bit, and they tell me I’m a quick learner and doing really well! I will require life-long joint supplements to support my legs. Are you ready to add some fun and love to your life? Because I am more than ready to provide it!
