Story
Meet Winnie! Winnie is a 5 1/2 year old purebred American Staffordshire Terrier and professional couch potato. I rescued her in 2023. She is 59 lbs., has low to moderate energy and is spayed. She has a happy-go-lucky and gentle disposition. She’s basic obedience trained and good on leash, pulls occasionally. House trained, not crated because she's well-behaved when left alone. Up to date on all vaccines. She's excellent with grooming and very patient overall. She LOVES to sunbathe. She’d be happiest with a fenced-in yard and as the only pet. Adoption includes all of her belongings (beds, toys, clothes, grooming tools, etc). Home visit and contract required.

If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Hey there, awesome humans...I'm Chance the 9-month-old (DOB 4/19/2023) 50lb bundle of joy and mischief with a flair for the extraordinary!  Rescued from an Alabama shelter, I dodged the "ruff" life, and now I'm on a quest for my forever home (or a snuggly foster spot)!   Sure, I'm a mix of 12 different breeds, making me a unique pup with a one-of-a-kind personality. I shine brightest in a home sans tiny tots (none under 12), and I prefer to be the solo dog because, let's face it, I'm a showstopper craving all the spotlight.    Long walks are my jam! I'm a leash protector, always eager to say "hello" to my fellow canines. After six weeks of obedience training, I've mastered sitting, staying, and the art of treating myself to the crate when I hear "go home."    Sure, I've got a strong personality, and maybe a touch of stubbornness, but who can resist my charm? I'm neutered/microchipped, vaccinated, house-trained, and ready to shower my forever peeps with kisses and belly rub requests.   P.S. I'm still a pup at heart, and yes, I love to nibble and chew, but think of it as my way of spreading joy! Help me thrive, and I promise to be the most entertaining and lovable companion you've ever had. Adopt me, and let the enchanting adventures begin! If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com Hello there, I'm Wallace! My name fits me perfectly because I'm quite the refined gentleman, more human-like than your average dog. I have impeccable manners and always respect the space of humans and other animals. I came from a not-so-great shelter where I had to live outside with bugs and dirt—definitely not my style. I much prefer the comfort of indoor living where it's clean and cozy. I'm about 1-2 years old and weigh a solid 40 lbs. I’m not much of a barker, but I’ll let you know if I need something, like a potty break or some food. &#239&#184&#143 I love toys and bones, but I’ll pass on shoes and socks—those things are just gross. When I walk with my foster mom and sisters, I stay close and behave well, even when other animals are around. My sister cat likes to explore the neighborhood with us, but I think she's a bit crazy, so I just let her do her thing. My sister dog likes to sniff everything and pull on her leash, which I find quite immature. I prefer to walk nicely with my foster mom or dog walker. ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 Most days, you'll find me lounging near my foster family or enjoying a nice bone on my soft blanket. &#239&#184&#143 If you’re a chill human looking for a proper boy to hang out with, I’m your guy. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com **HELLO!** I'm Edward, but you can call me Eddie! I'm a spunky brindle boy, around 9 months old, and I currently weigh 40 lbs. I'm a bit on the skinny side right now, but once I hit my healthy weight, I might be closer to 50 lbs. Despite being a puppy, my foster pawrents say I have the wisdom of an old soul. My sister and I were strays in Alabama before ending up in a rural shelter—that place was so scary! But now, I'm in a foster home, learning basic commands and how to come out of my shell. I'm a big fan of giving kisses to show how grateful I am to be out of the shelter. Oh, and did I mention I LOVE apples and kongs filled with peanut butter? YUM! My dream furever home is one where I can eat, play, nap, and zoom around the backyard. I'm a total outdoor enthusiast! I'm a lean adventure machine and would make the perfect buddy for your outdoor escapades. &#239&#184&#143 I'm great on walks and don't even pull on the leash; I just enjoy sniffing around and walking calmly by your side. When it's playtime, I'm all in, but during quiet moments, I love to just lounge around. I'm also very compliant—baths and pills are no problem for me! Thunder and fireworks? Just background noise. &#239&#184&#143 Plus, I'm more on the submissive side, so you don't have to worry about me trying to take over the household. I just want to be part of the family! I'm neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. I'm crate-trained, housetrained, and walk wonderfully on a leash. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I get along great with the resident dogs and would love a furever home with another energetic dog. I could also thrive as a solo dog but do appreciate some company. So far, I've been non-reactive to cats but haven't been alone with one yet. #AdoptEddie #BrindlePuppy #FureverHome #DogLover #AdoptDontShop #AdventureBuddy #PetRescue #DogLife To apply to foster or adopt please fill out application at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/apply-to-foster-or-adopt Thank you for completing the application.
