Meet Margot – or as her foster family lovingly calls her, “Sweet Lady Margot” – the hidden gem everyone has been missing out on! At around 2 years old, Margot has already mastered all the hard stuff—she’s fully housebroken, crate trained, walks like a pro on a leash, and has fantastic house manners. While the puppies steal all the attention, Margot just sits there with her big smile and silky, seal-colored fur thinking, “Why deal with all that chewing, potty training, and chaos when you could have ME?” She knows “sit,” is working on “stay” and “leave it,” and loves showing off how smart she is. Margot also has a favorite cow toy that she proudly carries around like her own emotional support cow—it’s the cutest thing ever! Margot is wonderful with adults and children alike, making her a great fit for just about any family. With dogs, she prefers slow introductions, but once she warms up, she’s all in—she and her foster dog sibling are now best buds. Margot is the perfect mix of playful sidekick and professional snuggler. Whether you’re heading out for a walk or curling up on the couch, she just wants to be by your side. She’s sweet, silly, easygoing, and basically the whole package—how she hasn’t had a single meet-and-greet yet is beyond us! Whoever scoops up Margot is going to hit the jackpot. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process. Meet Marrietta A fluffy, soft-coated sweetheart with the spirit of an American Bully mix and the energy of a pup who’s just discovered the joy of zoomies. Around a year old (give or take), Marrietta is smart, food-motivated, and always ready for a good walk or a wild run. She’s great with other dogs — especially the chill, tolerant kind who don’t mind her playful button-pushing antics. While she gets along with everyone she meets, Marrietta definitely brings the spice, so a dog friend who can roll with her bold personality would be ideal. Marrietta is also refreshingly independent. She’s not the clingy, in-your-face affectionate type — she prefers doing her own thing and coming in for connection on her terms. If you appreciate a dog with a little autonomy and a lot of heart, she might be your perfect match. Meet Kira 🐾 Kira was adopted in Champaign while I was attending the University of Illinois. When I moved back home, she adjusted well and got along with my Jack Russell at first. However, due to her size and playful energy, she sometimes overwhelms him, and my family feels it’s best to find her a home where she can play freely. Kira is a very sweet and gentle dog who loves to nap, spend time outdoors, and cuddle. She’s calm inside the house and enjoys relaxing next to her person. It breaks my heart to rehome her, but I’m hoping to find someone who can give her the space, love, and attention she deserves. Ideal Home: • Someone with space for her to play safely • No small or reactive dogs • A loving, patient owner who enjoys both playtime and naps Kira truly is a loving companion who will bring a lot of warmth and joy to her new family. 💕

Meet Charles Charles is busy living his best life for his circumstances at the moment of waiting for his chance to leave the shelter system. He is currently staying at a foster center while undergoing the final treatment for heartworm disease. He has been collecting hearts at the vet hospital where he goes for care, such a stunningly handsome dog. He is a charmer as well, and doesn't let his good looks go to his head. "Stay humble" is his motto. He is a friend to all dogs, adjusts his play style, enjoys a good romp in the yard and then to the sofa for cuddles. Did we mention he loves people?
