Story
Meet Stanley, a charming 2-year-old, 63lbs mixed breed male- possibly a Staffordshire terrier mix. His beautiful brown eyes and sleek coat make him a real standout. Stanley is a gentle and loving soul who adores the company of other canine friends. While he's not a fan of cats, he's incredibly friendly and affectionate with humans. Stanley walks nicely on the leash with just a little pulling, and he's always up for a leisurely stroll or a fun-filled playtime. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to share your life with, Stanley is the perfect choice!

Story
I'm Catherine and I'm being fostered with my six brothers. Don't worry though, I'm holding my own with the boys. I might be the smallest in stature but my big personality makes up for it. Even so, my foster mom tells me I am seriously sweet and adorable. She loves the white stripe that goes from my nose to my forehead. She also loves holding me and giving me kisses - I like that too. I hope I'm the girl you're looking for.....I promise to love you always. Story
Little Lovely Luna, yes little at 75ish pounds, is a super sweet and silly girl that catches the eye of people everywhere she goes. Her hippo like look and couch potato personality always collects admirers. And she is here for it! Luna is a social girl that loves meeting people, and especially loves men. Being able to spend time with the people she loves is of top priority to our beauty queen. When she isn't asking for love or giving you the most gentle kisses, she loves bully sticks to chew. Luna will take a squeaky toy but is not really sure what to do with them. Maybe shell figure it out one day! Luna knows sit and takes cookies and treats so softly. This is such an important skill when living in a home with children and she just seems to be such a natural at it. Luna likes exploring new things but prefers to have someone by her side while she does so. She is still warming up to items like vacuums, but then again we all know a dog who has an arch nemesis vacuum in their home, too! Some of her favorite activities outside of being the best house hippo there is is being in her backyard chasing cicadas. She keeps her crate clean and likes to listen to piano music while in it. Luna would do fine as a single dog, but could also share the home with a dog that is a good fit for her. Luna enjoys hanging out with her foster mom in her office, on her blanket of course. She also is child friendly and loves to snuggle with her fosters 9-year-old son. Give little Lovely Luna a chance, and her endless devotion and silly nature will keep you smiling every day. The adoption fee for Luna is $400. This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations. Wish Upon a Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based animal rescue. If you would like to meet Luna please complete our adoption questionnaire at www.wishuponarescue.org/adopt. We will review your responses and be in contact to schedule a meet and greet at a time and place convenient for your family and our team members.

Story
We are needing to rehome our sweet Phoebe. Phoebe was born (we were told) in Feb 2018, but we have no official documentation of her birth date. She is 6.5 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. When we adopted her we were told she is a border collie/boxer mix. We did get her DNA tested a few years ago because we were curious and the results are shown in the pictures. She has 2 sides to her: cuddly, lazy, couch potato and happy, excited, puppy-like-energy. If you want a cuddle dog, she’s the dog for you. She is the cuddliest, sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. She loves curling up on the couch or in bed with you. On the flip side, she loves to run and play and is pure muscle. She has been known to jump and climb! We haven’t had the time the past few years since having babies to give her to attention, training, and exercise that she needs and deserves.
