Story
Hello, my name is Nesha I had adopted this baby name tiger at the age of 2 years old at the Louisville metro animal shelter. I had got my daughter this dog. because my daughter have a mild developmental delay and she wanted a dog. So tiger was like a therapy dog to her and her bestfriend. She is now older and we in the process of moving and we can't afford to take care of this beautiful dog. He very playful, and love a lots of attention, and love hugs, he love going to parks. And he love children once he get to know you and your family. You would fall in love with him. Because we did. My mom and my sister never like dog but when tiger came into our life and my daughter life They love him and they change there way of thinking about dogs. He is train and he would let you know when he need to go to the bathroom. He would make whining noises and go in circle letting you know he got to go to the bathroom.

Story
I adopted her from the local pound. She was found in a field. No other information was known/given. The house I brought her home to was temporary but did have another person in the house, recently Sissy and I moved. She has anxiety from being left alone. She has soo much potential with more training than I can give. She would make a great family dog. I love more than anything but her health is the most important.

Story
Ruby is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate dog looking for a home that can give him more time and attention than our growing family can provide. He loves being close to his people, enjoys walks, and tires out quickly. Once he does, he’s easygoing and relaxed. He shows zero dog reactivity on walks and is loose and wiggly around other dogs, though he may pull slightly at first. Ruby has lived with other dogs and has been friendly the vast majority of the time, but he would do best either as an only dog or in a home where dog interactions can be supervised. He previously lived with a child in a wheelchair and has shown he can be gentle and comfortable in that environment. This is a difficult decision, and we want the best possible fit for him.

Story
‼️‼️ADOPT OR FOSTER ME‼️‼️ Meet Jazzy! Jazzy's mommy passed away and she found herself at LMAS without her mom, home or siblings. Shelter life was very scary for her and she only shook and shivered in her kennel. The only relief she got was when volunteers came and took her for walks. Her story touched our hearts and people that knew her before her mom passed, said nothing but good things about her. So, we went and scooped her up! Jazzy is in a temporary foster home. She will need a more permanent foster or even adopter! She's still grieving, whining often, needing a place to rest and decompress with lots of love and attention. Jazzy is pretty shy at first but she warms up quickly and will shower you in kisses. She loves to follow you around and just be by your side. We have been told that she slept in bed with her previous owner so she's all about invading your personal space! Jazzy played well in group play with other dogs but will probably be better in a home that matches her energy level. She has just discovered cats. She's still trying to decide if she likes them or not but no aggressive behavior towards them. She's said to do well around children, although she didn't live with any. Jazzy is a year and a half old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped! If you are interested in fostering or adopting this girl with the ears, fill out an application on our website!

Story
She started out her life where she was at a home that didn’t want her as we were told. She was left outside in the cold covered in fleas with no water or food. A lovely gentleman rescued her and her siblings and nursed her back to health and then I was able to adopt her. At first things were working out but as we ended up moving and then my father her owner fell and broke his hip right after we moved it became much harder to take care of her and her training. I’m hopping to find a good home for her.

Story
Maggie is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Maggie is great with people, though a little excitable, she has lived with and played with a 1-3 year old as the toddler has grown up and loves when she comes in to feed her or give her treats. Maggie has had reactive tendencies in the past, especially with other dogs but chases cats as well. Despite her reactive tendency she has successfully acclimated to dogs that she previously was aggressive towards after some time and work. Her best home is probably with someone without other pets or with someone willing and able to work with her to acclimate her. I would not be giving her up except I am moving to Spain where American Staffordshire terriers/Pit bulls are a banned breed. If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE CALL OR TEXT (812) 267-7202***Please contact the owner directly***
