Story
If you're a SpongeBob fan, you know exactly where my name came from! I do love to eat, but I certainly don't eat everything in my path! Contrary to the Alaskan Bull Worm in Bikini Bottom, I am actually a very nice guy. I am a wiggly dude who loves everyone that he meets. Though I am a big guy at 70lbs, you will quickly realize that I am 70lbs full of love! Somehow, I ended up as a stray, so the past is a mystery. I love playing with toys and zooming around the yard. I hope that you will take the time to come and meet me... I promise you won't be disappointed! Until then, I'll be here waiting for you eating my crabby patties.

Story
Penny is an incredibly sweet, food-motivated dog who will learn anything in exchange for a couple of treats. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves to play with humans and love on anyone who will offer a scratch and a kiss. Penny would prefer a home where she can be the apple of her human's eye. She is deaf, but that does not that slow her down, and she knows multiple hand signals. She loves to go for hikes and to meet new people. Do you have room in your home and heart for this amazing dog? Penny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Story
Ace came to Speedway Street Department as a stray. After tracking down his owner via his microchip, we learned that Ace has been rehomed 3 times in his short 1.5 years. His first owner loved him very much but was unable to keep him due to breed restrictions. She re-homed him to a friend, who also ran into the same issue. His third owner could not keep Ace contained in his yard, so opted not to reclaim him from animal control. Ace is a WONDERFUL dog, who wants nothing more than to play with toys. He is extremely athletic, and needs a home with a privacy fence. We are recommending him for a home with older kids only, due his size and energy level (he could easily knock over a little one, and then smother them in kisses). He has done well during introductions with other dogs. The jury is still out on cats. In his interactions, he has been extremely curious. We do not believe he would be aggressive, but we do think he may want to play with them, as he thinks the entire world is his toy box. Ace is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Considering Ace for adoption? Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Kore is approximately 4 years old and such a great dog. She isn't bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks and rarely makes much noise (unless you count her snoring). She knows basic commands thru hand signals because she is completely deaf. She knows how to walk well on a leash and has a ton of energy, which makes her an excellent walking/running partner. Kore is very selective on what dogs she prefers, so she does best as an only dog, but she absolutely loves all cats and kittens, even the ones who don't like her. She is great with kids of all ages, but she does forget her strength so she can be a bit much for smaller kids. She loves car trips and is fully crate trained. She is very trainable and absolutely loves to please her handler. She is very ball-motivated and will play fetch til she's utterly exhausted. She can be a bit of a piglet and she loves mud but she's an absolute dream to bathe and she will stand for you calmly and dries almost fully with one towel. She's a great dog with a super happy-go-lucky personality. A 6' fence will be necessary for anyone interested in adopting Kore.

Story
Majesty is an approximately 4- 6 year old, 57 lb good boy who is looking for a home. You might remember Majesty's story. His owner paid to continuously board him at Puppy Pitstop while in between housing. After two months, she was no longer able to pay and relinquished him to Puppy Pitstop, who called us. Being left in boarding was hard on Majesty, and he now has separation anxiety, which isn't a good match for Majesty's current owners, who work long hours. The cuts on Majesty's face are from him harming himself in a crate while his owner are away. They currently do not crate him while they are gone to protect him, but he is destructive at the door. Yes, we are aware an impact crate is an option, but Majesty would truly be happiest in a home where he is not left alone. Majesty is a wonderful dog. He wants to be your shadow. He was not neutered while at Puppy Pitstop, so he was not part of daycare but did have short, controlled play sessions with other dogs. A meet and greet with any potential dogs would be necessary, as we just don't know enough about him with other dogs to say one way or the other. Majesty is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

Story
We brought Pixie Muffin into our home in January 2024. She was in urgent need of medical care (see pics). She was badly malnourished and had signs of physical abuse (by people and other dogs). We have since nursed Pixie back to health (she has gained more than 20 lbs), neutered as well as brought current on all shots. Unfortunately, we have realized that Pixie seems unable to co-exist with our other 3 dogs: a small, 19-year-old Miniature Pinscher, a 75 lb. male pit-mix and a 55 lb. female pit-mix. Pixie has displayed various levels of aggressive behavior with each of our dogs as well as other dogs when taking her for walks. Pixie was very shy and very sad when we first got her, but she has warmed up and really enjoys snuggling on the couch, wrestling around, going for walks, playing tug of war or just sniffing around the back yard. Pixie is house broken and crate trained, but does suffer from separation anxiety (barks) and does get triggered with load noises.
