Story
Penny is an incredibly sweet, food-motivated dog who will learn anything in exchange for a couple of treats. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves to play with humans and love on anyone who will offer a scratch and a kiss. Penny would prefer a home where she can be the apple of her human's eye. She is deaf, but that does not that slow her down, and she knows multiple hand signals. She loves to go for hikes and to meet new people. Do you have room in your home and heart for this amazing dog? Penny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Story
Ace came to Speedway Street Department as a stray. After tracking down his owner via his microchip, we learned that Ace has been rehomed 3 times in his short 1.5 years. His first owner loved him very much but was unable to keep him due to breed restrictions. She re-homed him to a friend, who also ran into the same issue. His third owner could not keep Ace contained in his yard, so opted not to reclaim him from animal control. Ace is a WONDERFUL dog, who wants nothing more than to play with toys. He is extremely athletic, and needs a home with a privacy fence. We are recommending him for a home with older kids only, due his size and energy level (he could easily knock over a little one, and then smother them in kisses). He has done well during introductions with other dogs. The jury is still out on cats. In his interactions, he has been extremely curious. We do not believe he would be aggressive, but we do think he may want to play with them, as he thinks the entire world is his toy box. Ace is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Considering Ace for adoption? Story
Hayley was found as a stray in Speedway. She is approximately 2 years old and 53 lbs. She is the epitome of an American Staffordshire Terrier: loving, full of live, playful, obsessed with humans, affectionate, and STRONG. She loves to be outside and go for walks, and would make a great hiking or running partner. She needs an adopter with breed experience who is also willing to put in a little bit of training. She would do best in a home without small children, as her size and energy could easily knock over a little one. She has not been tested with cats. Look at her heart-shaped nose! Hayley is crate and potty trained, and is also spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention.

Story
Kore is approximately 4 years old and such a great dog. She isn't bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks and rarely makes much noise (unless you count her snoring). She knows basic commands thru hand signals because she is completely deaf. She knows how to walk well on a leash and has a ton of energy, which makes her an excellent walking/running partner. Kore is very selective on what dogs she prefers, so she does best as an only dog, but she absolutely loves all cats and kittens, even the ones who don't like her. She is great with kids of all ages, but she does forget her strength so she can be a bit much for smaller kids. She loves car trips and is fully crate trained. She is very trainable and absolutely loves to please her handler. She is very ball-motivated and will play fetch til she's utterly exhausted. She can be a bit of a piglet and she loves mud but she's an absolute dream to bathe and she will stand for you calmly and dries almost fully with one towel. She's a great dog with a super happy-go-lucky personality. A 6' fence will be necessary for anyone interested in adopting Kore.

Story
Majesty is an approximately 4- 6 year old, 57 lb good boy who is looking for a home. You might remember Majesty's story. His owner paid to continuously board him at Puppy Pitstop while in between housing. After two months, she was no longer able to pay and relinquished him to Puppy Pitstop, who called us. Being left in boarding was hard on Majesty, and he now has separation anxiety, which isn't a good match for Majesty's current owners, who work long hours. The cuts on Majesty's face are from him harming himself in a crate while his owner are away. They currently do not crate him while they are gone to protect him, but he is destructive at the door. Yes, we are aware an impact crate is an option, but Majesty would truly be happiest in a home where he is not left alone. Majesty is a wonderful dog. He wants to be your shadow. He was not neutered while at Puppy Pitstop, so he was not part of daycare but did have short, controlled play sessions with other dogs. A meet and greet with any potential dogs would be necessary, as we just don't know enough about him with other dogs to say one way or the other. Majesty is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

Story
Chowder is funny, quick to learn and yet still has challenges like any other puppy. We would like for him to go to a kind, loving home with maybe one other dog or as a single pet family. He gets along great with my children aged 10-12. Unknown for younger ones although he does great with the smaller kids in my neighborhood on walks. Highly food driven but also just wants to be a part of your everyday world. And I mean a serious part because he follows you everywhere😂.
