Story
Hi there, I’m Wallace! I’m a fun, friendly guy who loves people and really enjoys hanging out with the other dogs here at the shelter. Playing, exploring, and making new friends are some of my favorite things!I should probably tell you—I’m a bit of an athlete. Yep, I can jump fences, so I’ll need a family who can keep me safe while still letting me have all the fun and exercise I crave. Don’t worry, I’ll make it worth your while with all the love and laughter I bring. If you’re looking for a playful buddy who’s always ready for the next adventure, I think we could be the perfect team!I am eligible for foster!

Story
My mother just died and we need a good home for Sugar. He was the love of her life. He is so sweet and cuddly, but t needs to be trained, exercised, and socialized. He takes time getting used to people, and acts afraid, but quickly learns and is very smart. He needs someone with experience in training these dogs.

Story
Kore is approximately 6 years old and such a great dog. She isn't bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks and rarely makes much noise (unless you count her snoring). She knows basic commands thru hand signals because she is completely deaf. She knows how to walk well on a leash and has a ton of energy, which makes her an excellent walking/running partner. Kore is very selective on what dogs she prefers, so she does best as an only dog, but she absolutely loves all cats and kittens, even the ones who don't like her. She is great with kids of all ages, but she does forget her strength so she can be a bit much for smaller kids. She loves car trips and is fully crate trained. She is very trainable and absolutely loves to please her handler. She is very ball-motivated and will play fetch til she's utterly exhausted. She can be a bit of a piglet and she loves mud but she's an absolute dream to bathe and she will stand for you calmly and dries almost fully with one towel. She's a great dog with a super happy-go-lucky personality. A 6' fence will be necessary for anyone interested in adopting Kore.

Story
Candy is now ready! Here is what her foster tells us: Candy is a sweet, adorable, fun loving girl who enjoys just about everything. Her tail wags all the time, I would not recommend Candy in a home with small children under 6. She is still a puppy with high energy and can easily knock a small child down. She gets excited when meeting new people - she needs to learn that she can’t always jump on people. With that said she knows No, Leave it, Off and Drop it. She usually does the correction the first or second time. Candy does not like to be crated- however she is crated at my house when I’m not home- She will run if she knows she’s going in there- I just pick her up, take her to the crate and put her 1/2 in and give her a nudge to completely go in. She will bark for about 5 minutes then settle down. Candy gets along very well with other dogs and when not playing with the greyhounds, she likes to play with her toys and will play by herself. She does have a habit of wanting to take her toys outside and not bring them back in. She is learning to walk on a leash but could use some more training with that. Candy can be very affectionate as she loves giving lots and lots of kisses. Candy is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, dewormed, and on prevention. She is approximately 1 year old and 42 lbs

Story
Penny is an incredibly sweet, food-motivated dog who will learn anything in exchange for a couple of treats. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves to play with humans and love on anyone who will offer a scratch and a kiss. Penny would prefer a home where she can be the apple of her human's eye. She is deaf, but that does not that slow her down, and she knows multiple hand signals. She loves to go for hikes and to meet new people. Do you have room in your home and heart for this amazing dog? Penny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
