Cash is an 83 lb, 3 old Staffie/Heeler mix. He is just a hunk of burning love; he will lay his head on you just wanting to cuddle. His favorite thing is to just hang out with staff on his pillow. Cash is sweet, quiet and undemanding. He loves car rides and rides shotgun. Cash is strong and muscular so his owner should be in a position to handle him on a leash when he gets exited seeing squirrels and rabbits. He has a very strong prey drive and should not be homed with small animals, but he adores his dog friends! He would also do great in an apartment as long as he gets his daily exercise. He requires a 6 ft privacy fence. Don't overlook this sweet, handsome and gentle big ole goof! Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. He also understands the importance of pottying outside, though he did have a couple of spray incidents prior to his neutering. With a little guidance and training, we've no doubt he'll quickly adapt to being fully house-trained. As an affectionate sweetheart who craves human companionship, Berry thrives when he's surrounded by people, and longs to be by your side. In terms of feeding, Berry does well with a slow feeder to help him savor every bite, and he has no trouble taking pills. Gracie is a very sweet 4 year old Boxer in need of a loving home with lots of room to run & play & be active. She is extremely active but is kennel trained & will be obedient for the right owner. She has a nervous energy about her & a dominant personality so would be best alone or with a very submissive housemate. We are rehoming her because our house has gotten to be too active for her nervous energy & she is competing for alpha position with our male so they have been fighting & neither will back down. We have a 9 year old son & don't want him (or anyone else) to get hurt. Please reach out with any questions about our girl.
