Story
Babie is a Boxer/Greyhound/Pitbull mix, born appx June 2021. Babie is a sweet and friendly girl. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is an athletic girl, enjoys being active and needs a fenced yard with a TALL fence - no short 4' fences for this girl! Bonus points if you have a large yard with room for her to run and stretch her legs! She is also leash trained and would love it if her person enjoys being active just as much as she does. Sometimes she can be reactive to other dogs while out walking. Babie gets along with kids, but sometimes she is not too sure of them. She has too much energy for little kids and would probably be okay with age 6 and older. Babie does not like to share her food. She needs her own personal space for meals so she feels comfortable. Help us find Babie a new home! The suggested adoption donation for Babie is $375, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Please Note:  A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Before applying to adopt Babie, you need to be familiar with your local breed-specific legislation regarding Pit Bulls. Applicants must live within 50 miles of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. This will also allow you to take advantage of free training from our certified positive reinforcement trainers.       Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note:  We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
Layla is an adult Boxer (born 2021).  Layla is eager to be loved and is a great snuggle partner when it's time to wind down or go to sleep.  She's housebroken, crate trained and friendly with other dogs. Layla needs a family of adults who are energetic and able to help Layla burn off all her energy and provide mental stimulation for her.   Her new owners must be patient and willing to work with Layla as she learns how to control her energy.   She doesn't understand yet that she can't be rough when playing with younger people.  The perfect home for Layla would have no children (or possibly older kids age 13+) and a fenced yard to run around in.    Layla does like to bark or nip when excited or when she's being protective of her family.  She will sometimes seem nervous or stressed.   The suggested adoption donation for Layla is $375, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Story
Banjo is a sweet Boxer mix, born May 2024.  He was surrendered by his owner because he had Parvo.  This resilient puppy beat Parvo and is ready for the next chapter in his life!  He has a very loving demeanor, but needs to be the only dog in the home.    He is crate trained, potty trained, walks great on a leash and knows sit, stay, and shake.    The perfect home for Banjo will be with a family that enjoys an active and fun day of playing, walking and snuggles at the end of the day.  He gets along well with older kids (age 10+). Banjo LOVES his people and is very eager to please.  He is such a sweet boy!   Who wants to be part of Banjo's new lease on life? The suggested adoption donation for Banjo $465, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Story
Sage is an adorable pup (born Feb 2025) with a sweet and loving personality. He is a Boxer/Husky mix.  Sage is a happy, playful pup who loves spending time outdoors, especially playing with sticks! Sage is great with other dogs and enjoys romping and playing with the resident dog.  Due to his having always been with another dog and his preference to have a playmate we are looking for a home with another dog his size or larger. He adores toys - rope toys are his favorite! Sage is kennel trained and making great progress with potty training. While he may be a little shy around new people at first, he quickly warms up and shows his affectionate side once he feels comfortable. Sage also loves being in the kitchen while you’re cooking and has a particular fondness for vegetables! He is good around kids, though he’s still learning and doesn’t yet distinguish between dog toys and kid toys. He has a sensitive stomach and is currently on a Pro Plan EN Gastroenteric food. Car rides can also upset his tummy. Sage is a loving, playful, and loyal companion ready to find his forever home. Sage is from Kira's Litter!  Kira's puppies were born 2/1/25 in Texas and traveled to Nebraska with high hopes of finding their own special home.   The suggested adoption donation for Sage is $465, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Story
Percy was born July 12/13, 2020. He is almost 6yrs old & i had him since 7wks of age. What im lookin for in his adoption is a family of 2 or more that will hopefully have a house with a fenced in yard for him to roam. An apartment is acceptable but a house is preferred. Percy is the perfect family dog as he LOVES attention & to be petted. Non aggresive. Loves his space from others dogs at times. Loves walks & the dog park. Leash trained, does pull sometimes to go smell. Smells EVERYTHING. Good with baths after you get him in the tub. Wants to be outside all day to watch the environment. Can be sensitive to sounds when outside. Likes to pull his leash when he gets excited to be at a new place. Gets along with anybody off all ages. Also knows his sit stay, lay down & ouch. Not much of a jumper but can at times. Loves givig kisses. Can go 0 to 100 in .2 secs but only needs a quick pet to calm down. Percy is the perfect family Dog

Story
Meet Knipsey 🐾 Knipsey is a 5-year-old, loving, playful, and cuddly. Born on 8/15/2020, we’ve had him since birth. Knipsey has a great balance of energy and chill — he loves to play, go for walks, ride in the car, and play fetch, but he’s also perfectly happy being a couch potato if you’re up for snuggles. He knows basic commands, respects boundaries (like “off” and “do not cross”), and does well kids. He would do best in a house with older kids due to his size, is okay with younger kids, but would require additional supervision. Knipsey generally does well with other dogs, though he would likely thrive as the only dog in the home or with proper introduction best paired with female dog. Had previous dominance problem with a male dog in the home. Due to having two babies in the home we can no longer give Knipsey the time, attention, and activity he deserves. This decision is incredibly difficult, and our goal is to find him a home where he can continue to thrive and be deeply loved.

Story
Elsa is approximately 2-3 years old and about 50 pounds. She is deaf but that doesn’t stop her from playing with other dogs and learning commands through sign language. She is very treat motivated and loves to be around people so training comes easy for her. Her food motivation has made her a little protective during feeding time and will need to eat and enjoy bones separate from other animals. She has really enjoyed playing with her foster brothers and has learned a lot from them so having a fur sibling would be good for her, but not required. She likes to chase cats so a home with no feline friends would be best for her. Elsa is very social and has been known to jump a fence to say hi to her neighbors so she will need to be supervised when outside. This sweet girl loves unconditionally and with all of her heart; if you can provide a safe, deaf-friendly home for her please fill out an application today! The suggested adoption fee for Elsa is $315. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1802192##
