Story
Available in TX only! Granger, a 54-pound young adult rescue dog, embodies a unique blend of traits that make him an endearing companion. Initially cautious around strangers, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate friend once he establishes trust. His wide-set, beautiful eyes are a distinctive feature, complemented by charmingly bow-legged stature reminiscent of a bulldog. Granger thrives in the company of other dogs, eagerly seeking opportunities to snuggle and play with his furry pals. His social nature extends to adoring kids, showcasing gentle and amiable behavior around them. A testament to his adaptability, Granger is both kennel and potty trained, demonstrating discipline and understanding of boundaries. While initially uneasy with car rides, he is gradually becoming more comfortable, displaying resilience and openness to new experiences. Granger came into rescue with frequent upper respiratory infections. Extensive medical testing was done and it was discovered that he has a fungus that infiltrated his lungs and cervical spine. He underwent a vaccine regimen to stop the progression of the fungus. He will require that vaccine annually. Despite his medical condition, he continues to thrive and love life! His gradual acclimatization to car rides mirrors his overall willingness to embrace change and learn. Granger's journey from a hesitant newcomer to a beloved companion reflects his resilient spirit and willingness to form deep connections. In essence, Granger is an amiable, adaptable, and affectionate dog whose gradual warmth towards strangers underscores his loyalty and trustworthiness once he embraces friendship. His love for canine and human companionship, along with his charming features and gentle demeanor, make him a cherished addition to any loving home. Story
Rupert is an approximately 2 yo., 55 lbs. super sweet and friendly mutt. He is short and stocky and his breed mix is hard to guess. He is a medium energy dog who is smart, food motivated, and a joy to train. He walks well on leash, is great in his crate, is potty trained, knows basic commands like a pro, and is learning the "place" command. This guy is simply the best and would be a great fit for many homes. We also think he'd do well with respectful children. Rupert is a love and would do great with another playful dog who doesn't mind his wiggly booty energy but he'd also do well as the only pup in the home. He's a pretty easy-going guy and with the training he's received from us, you'll have a dog that understands what's expected of him and you can walk out and about and take places without issues. His adoption fee is $425. All of our dogs have been spayed/neutered, are up-to-date on vaccinations, are microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. Story
Jackson (Jax) is looking for his family! Please adopt me now <3 This guy is a fun loving 70 lbs American Bulldog mix with possibly some other bully and/or Weimaraner mixed in. He is about 6 years old.  He loves to go for walks, would be an excellent running/hiking buddy.  He is so crate trained that if you say kennel, he goes right to it.  He also will put himself to bed in his crate if he feels you are staying up too late.  He has that awesome puppy energy but the smarts to immediately calm down as soon as you say his name.  He knows sit, lay down, go out (from the kitchen lol) and walks beautifully on a leash. Best as an only dog because his past experience with other dogs is mixed. He does best with a strong leader. No cats, but he is okay with chickens. Out of an abundance of caution, no small kids even though he's shown no issues with kids and actually likes them. He's fixed, chipped, and current on his vaccinations. Adoption fee of $250 includes the aforementioned items. Currently in need of new foster (or adopter) in Oregon. He can be adopted in Oregon or Southwest Washington. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet. Please apply here: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/0b9tH5evbdz.
