At around 2 years old, he’s that magical age where puppy playfulness meets grown-up companionship — fun, affectionate, and ready to bond. Tom came in with his brother, who has already been adopted. Now Tom is patiently waiting for his turn. Through everything, he’s stayed joyful, confident, and endlessly loving. He greets everyone like a long-lost friend, offering full-body wiggles, big smiles, and a happiness that’s impossible to ignore. Despite his short, stocky build, Tom is all bounce and personality. He adores people and thrives on connection. He’ll lean into you for pets, follow you just to be near, and soak up attention like it’s his favorite thing in the world — because it is. In early 2025, The Operation Save a Shelter Dog was contacted about three dogs that were tethered on chains and abandoned by their owners who moved away. The rescue took swift action to help the dogs only to realize, one of them, Arabella, was pregnant. Soon after, Arabella gave birth to a mix of 11 (7 girls and 4 boys) healthy and happy puppies. Born on February 27, 2025, Xavier Colin is a Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is estimated to weigh between 25-40 pounds when full grown. He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. He is being fostered in Hampton, VA and can be transported to nearby locations for the right home. Please note, a transport fee may apply.
