Story
Anansi is an extremely active and playful pup. He would do best in an active household where he can get out and see the world. He is not fond of small dogs due to being attacked as a puppy. He is very social and struggles with over excitement in public setting but with more training I’m positive he’ll be great. He’s very affectionate and does great with schedules, maintaining a 9pm bedtime since his early pup months.

Story
I am a fun loving, goofy girl. I'm so happy, I wiggle when I walk! My last person didn't want me anymore and now I crave that special person who will love me as much as I love them. My biggest pleasure in life is to make you happy and laugh. I might look like a stiff wind is hitting me from the side, but it only adds to my silly, quirky personality. I haven't met a person yet that I don't like. In fact, I LOVE everybody. I'm great at cuddles too and I'm so good at being calm and respectful, just give me a few minutes to get over my eagerness to meet you. I work really hard at greeting you with a sit, but sometimes I'm so HAPPY to meet you I might forget my manners and jump, but I quickly stop when you remind me. I'm very good in my crate and I'm house trained. I promise to adore you for the rest of my life. Would you like to be my forever person?.

Story
Rose is a combination peaceful, serene with her people and playful young girl especially chasing her Kong Rubber Ball. Soulful eyes just beg you to let me be yours. Chills out after play and takes life easy. She enjoys all kinds of throw toys and is very good about releasing them. Really fun dog with a gentle spirit and loving attitude. A great combination of relatively compact size, super joyful spirit, focused affection and companion, and fun ! Adoption Process Guardianship Application available for download at http://tinyurl.com/MAPSFiles The Adoption process is designed to help best place dogs with homes that are in the best interest of the dogs and their human companions. The adoption process starts with a prescreen review of an Guardian Application. Making decisions about dog placement in adoptive homes is an "art", not a "science", and there will be times when applications will be denied for various reason(s). This is left to the discretion of the MAPS after reviewing relevant information. MAPS reserves the right to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care into a foster or adoptive home. There is no guarantee that any applicant(s) requesting to adopt a dog being fostered through MAPS, or posted on MAP's web site, will be granted an adoption. After a successful prescreen, including background checks, the applicant(s) are notified that they can visit the dogs and a time slot is made for the dog and applicant interaction. After the interaction we encourage several days of reflection before adopting a pet to help assure this will be a lifetime commitment of love and quality care for the dog. Next we conduct a home/neighborhood visit to the Guardian Applicant's home. If the home visit proves successful the new mom and/or dad of the dog will sign an Adoption Agreement and share a lifetime of love !

Story
Anna…. She lives to be with you. She enjoys doggy activities but her favorite activity is simply being with you. She loves walks, car rides, tennis ball retrieval or lying near you as you answer emails. Anna doesn’t just live she thrives on her/your daily routine. If you have a busy day, that’s OK she will spend her day watching you work. She is smart, food motivated and eager to please. Her personality and intelligence make her a great student. She has most of the basic commands mastered and is already house and crate trained. She is ready for that next big step in her life. Remember Anna is a book with only a sentence or two in each paragraph. She is waiting for you to finish her life’s story with her. Someone will get a great companion who would love to spend her day on your schedule. Anna has all the right ingredients; wouldn’t you like to bake the cake?

Story
Pepsi was saved from the island of Turks and Caicos! She was found alone and was rescued off the streets. We brought her to the states to find her a loving, forever home. She is up to date on her shots and has no known health conditions. She is playful, curious, and very friendly. She walks great on a leash, sleeps through the night, and is learning basic obedience skills. She plays well with other dogs and loves everyone she meets. We are looking for a home that is committed to enjoying the rewards and challenges that come with raising a new puppy. She is an absolute sweetheart and will be a lifelong companion! Please message me with any other questions!

Story
Tutti! This is a special gal. Look at those googlie eyes! Tutti was found living in a drain pipe, and other dogs were bullying her. Thankfully, we were able to scoop her up-and she hasn’t stopped entertaining us! She’s a pretty shy girl, and we don’t know all that she’s been through, but we know none of it was good. She just needs a little extra time to come out of her shell. Loud noises and thunder scare her, so someone who understand what her needs will be is ideal. She’s good with all dogs and older kids. She has not been exposed to cats and arrives in Wisconsin on 11/6! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
