Story
Anansi is an extremely active and playful pup. He would do best in an active household where he can get out and see the world. He is not fond of small dogs due to being attacked as a puppy. He is very social and struggles with over excitement in public setting but with more training I’m positive he’ll be great. He’s very affectionate and does great with schedules, maintaining a 9pm bedtime since his early pup months.

Story
I am a fun loving, goofy girl. I'm so happy, I wiggle when I walk! My last person didn't want me anymore and now I crave that special person who will love me as much as I love them. My biggest pleasure in life is to make you happy and laugh. I might look like a stiff wind is hitting me from the side, but it only adds to my silly, quirky personality. I haven't met a person yet that I don't like. In fact, I LOVE everybody. I'm great at cuddles too and I'm so good at being calm and respectful, just give me a few minutes to get over my eagerness to meet you. I work really hard at greeting you with a sit, but sometimes I'm so HAPPY to meet you I might forget my manners and jump, but I quickly stop when you remind me. I'm very good in my crate and I'm house trained. I promise to adore you for the rest of my life. Would you like to be my forever person?.

Story
Rose is a combination peaceful, serene with her people and playful young girl especially chasing her Kong Rubber Ball. Soulful eyes just beg you to let me be yours. Chills out after play and takes life easy. She enjoys all kinds of throw toys and is very good about releasing them. Really fun dog with a gentle spirit and loving attitude. A great combination of relatively compact size, super joyful spirit, focused affection and companion, and fun ! Adoption Process Guardianship Application available for download at http://tinyurl.com/MAPSFiles The Adoption process is designed to help best place dogs with homes that are in the best interest of the dogs and their human companions. The adoption process starts with a prescreen review of an Guardian Application. Making decisions about dog placement in adoptive homes is an "art", not a "science", and there will be times when applications will be denied for various reason(s). This is left to the discretion of the MAPS after reviewing relevant information. MAPS reserves the right to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care into a foster or adoptive home. There is no guarantee that any applicant(s) requesting to adopt a dog being fostered through MAPS, or posted on MAP's web site, will be granted an adoption. After a successful prescreen, including background checks, the applicant(s) are notified that they can visit the dogs and a time slot is made for the dog and applicant interaction. After the interaction we encourage several days of reflection before adopting a pet to help assure this will be a lifetime commitment of love and quality care for the dog. Next we conduct a home/neighborhood visit to the Guardian Applicant's home. If the home visit proves successful the new mom and/or dad of the dog will sign an Adoption Agreement and share a lifetime of love !

Anna…. She lives to be with you. She enjoys doggy activities but her favorite activity is simply being with you. She loves walks, car rides, tennis ball retrieval or lying near you as you answer emails. Anna doesn’t just live she thrives on her/your daily routine. If you have a busy day, that’s OK she will spend her day watching you work. She is smart, food motivated and eager to please. Her personality and intelligence make her a great student. Story
·Intake Reason: Stray·Weight: 50 lbs. Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Unknown ·Kids: Unknown ·Personality: Attention seekingHello, my name is Smooches and that tells you all you need to know about me. I adore people and am happiest when I am with humans and getting attention. I have an adorable snort when I am on the move and have even been told I sound like a little motorcycle when I am running. I am friendly, affectionate and active, so I am definitely not a couch potato; it would be great to have both physical and mental stimulation each day. I enjoy getting outside to explore and soak in the sunshine but am not a marathon runner or sprinter; I much prefer a meander, walk or stroll. Since I came to the shelter as a stray my history is a bit of a mystery, but I do know that the nice person who found me had a couple of Labrador Retrievers and I met them and did well. I like to learn and expand my brain, so maybe we can take classes and do training together. I already know the cues for ‘sit' and ‘beg' and think with your patient and positive techniques I could learn many more human words. Although I have a powerful and tough appearance, I am a sensitive, graceful and sweet gal who thoroughly savors cuddles, tender scratches and snuggles. I am good-natured and promise to be a loyal and trustworthy friend to the end. I also promise to make you laugh every day with my whimsical antics and funny-face charm. Stop by to meet me in person; we can have a magnificent life together.#1
