Looking for a forever home. Because of her past life in a previous home she doesn't do well with men. She tolerates them but she needs to go to a home where the FEMALE WILL BE THE MAIN CARETAKER. I would like to adopt her out to a stable family so she doesn't get bounced around. She does have anxiety when left alone so prefer she goes to a home where she doesn't have to be caged very often if at all. I have baby gates put up so when I need to leave she is just limited to my kitchen as she is still so much like a puppy she likes to get into things and chew them up. Lol She is a big cuddle bug and would love to share a bed with you if you allow her to.

Wilma is being fostered in NJ. Hello from Wilma in NJ! Wilma just wants to be with a person and has aspirations of being a lap dog. She enjoys walking, but is not a runner, is attracted to other dogs and ignores the cat and rabbit she lives with, so the house stays peaceful. Wilma rides well in the car regardless of where we are traveling to, and waits patiently in the car during grocery trips. Napping is a favorite pastime. And anytime treats are involved she is definitely interested. Altogether Wilma is a wonderful companion. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

She never was properly socialized with other dogs. She is great with humans. Amelia Bedelia is a very sweet, gentle girl who is ready to find her forever home! Our vet believes she is about 1-2 years old. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas when her previous owners did not want to come for her and we do NOT understand why - she's absolutely AMAZING and has been a total love bug. Amelia has the best personality and is affectionate, playful, and full of charm! She adores people! One of her quirky charms is that she will army crawl across the floor to get closer to people! She gets along well with other dogs, and would do great living with other pups or living as an only pup too. She is a big fan of toys (the squeaky and crinkly kinds are her favorites!) and will happily entertain herself, especially if you are nearby giving her attention. Her energy level is medium, think: couch potato meets playtime! She enjoys cuddles, neighborhood walks, or backyard playtime. She may not be the best long hike companion, but little adventures are great! Amelia is crate trained and does wonderfully when left alone. She relaxes in her crate and her bed, stays quiet, and settles calmly. Her foster checks on her through the doggy camera, and she doesn't make a peep! Meet Luna! Luna is around 6 months old and has your typical puppy higher energy, though she loves her cuddle time. She is a petite gal who will probably grow a little bit more. She loves dogs, cats, and people!!! She's the full package. She is eager to play, so if her adoptive home does have another dog, they should be playful too or patient with her as she learns. She loves long walks, her toys, and belly rubs. Luna has not shown any guarding behaviors with food or toys and would make a wonderful addition to any family.

EMMA - young adult (maybe 3ish?) ✅ Is your ride or die ✅ Snuggly ✅ Thinks she's a lap dog ✅ Super smart ✅ Loves playing ✅ Agile ✅ Confident ✅ Drop dead gorgeous ✅ Thinks strangers are friends she hasn't met yet ✅ Struts around the Hilldale mall area like she owns the place ✅ Loves food ✅ Loves toys ✅ Has a smile that will warm your heart on even the coldest of winter days Emma is one of the ranch favorites! She has gotten along with some dogs but not with others, so we'd like her to be an only dog. Emma met one of our kittens on the ranch and play bowed to her, but she may try to play too rough with kitties. She is just so excited by them. Emma loves hard, plays hard, and sleeps hard. She gives kisses freely to anyone she meets and thrives off of affection. She is such a quick learner and is always eager to learn more! She has been working with a trainer on the ranch to expand her knowledge skill set! Come meet Emma - she doesn't know you yet, but she already loves you!
