Dogbert is a very chill senior gentleman who is wonderful around people and kids and absolutely loves a good nap. Despite his laid-back nature, he's far from aloof - he adores loving head and belly scratches and will gently ask for more if you stop. His calm knows no bounds - he barely even lifts his head when new people enter the home, and he was the gentlest giant with our young nieces. Dogbert is also a great listener. He patiently waited for an "okay" before heading down the stairs to our backyard and always listened when it was time to come back in. He's polite, easygoing, and a joy to have around. Dogbert would thrive in a home where he has a cozy place to relax, lots of love, and humans who appreciate a calm, affectionate companion. A spirited almost two-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix currently in Santee, CA, whose essence is a beautiful blend of loyalty, playfulness, and gentle strength, wrapped in a beige and tan coat with striking black ears and a noble black muzzle. Titus is the kind of companion who brings warmth and comfort just by being near. Affectionate and deeply connected to those around him, he’s played an important role in helping a family member through tough times and now he’s ready to find a new loving home where he can thrive both physically and emotionally. At around 84 pounds, Titus is a large pup with an even bigger heart! He's playful, enjoys affection, and thrives on companionship, whether it’s human or canine. This outdoorsy guy is happiest when he’s out exploring. Whether it's a long hike, a walk through the neighborhood, or romping at the dog park, Titus embraces it all with enthusiasm! He’s a big fan of squeaky toys and balls, and he especially enjoys the social scene at doggie daycare. He’s shown no signs of guarding or food aggression and gets along well with other dogs, often delighting in the opportunity to play. Though he's not lived with children or cats, he’s always friendly when meeting new people and loves gentle pets from curious little hands. Titus is leash trained, house-trained, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He knows basic commands like sit, down, stay, come, mine, and release. When left alone for short periods, he mostly snoozes peacefully. He’s sensitive to raised voices and the occasional scary animal on TV, so a calm, caring environment will help him feel secure. Titus would do best with guardians experienced with large breeds, especially those familiar with livestock guardian types. A fenced yard is a must for his zoomies and sunbathing sessions, and a canine playmate would be the cherry on top of his perfect day!
