This beautiful soul spent 557 days in the shelter due to a welfare case. She truly deserves a place to call a forever home! Though Sunny may be shy and nervous at first, beneath that quiet exterior is a calm and loving dog who is slowly opening up to the world. She’s made amazing progress, becoming more comfortable on walks and showing comfort around other dogs. Sunny has favorite cozy spots like the couch or a human bed where she enjoys her peaceful retreat. She has even initiated brief play with another dog. Honey is a 6 year old female anatolian shepherd Honey was "rescued" by an organization called Delaneys Dog in June 2022 aling with "Sugar" the husky. They were pulled from Animal Friends of the Valley Shelter in October 2022. Delaneys dog reacue re-dumped the 2 dogs at a boarding facility in the high desert area, they left them there and never came back or paid their bill. The owner of the boarding facility recently passed and these dogs were in danger of re-entering the shelter system, but we stepped up and brought them into our care. Sugar is just about the sweetest dog I've ever met. I can definitely see how she got her name, which was given to her by valley shelter staff back in 2022. She is spayed and gets along with every dog she's ever met. She can be pushy with her affection--so if you're working from home and don't want to be interrupted for pats regularly, she's not the one. She will come check on you and get a little ear scratch every so often, nudging and nuzzling your hand till you give her lovin'. Spayed and great with dogs, chickens, the cat, and all the people she meets. Gently and mellow. When she's not curled up next to me on the rug, she can be found lounging outside under the tree. She is protective of our yard and scary looking at the fence, but once the people are inside she just wants love. Beautiful temperament, such a lovely dog--over the years, there have been a few foster dogs that I truly wish I could keep, and this is one of those times... Honey is now 100% potty trained, she knows sit and paw, she's spayed and vaccinated, and her adoption fee is $250

Redley was a dog we pulled moments before being Euthanized at the deadly shelter! See our social media for his freedom video! Redley is a very sweet boy! He can be a little hyper when he first meets you, but after the initial excitement wears off after a few minutes he is a good boy who just wants human connection and a companion! He is eager to please. He would thrive from some routine and repetition. He is good with other dogs, likes to chase cats that run, but is ok with brave kitties that don't run. Redley would do vets in a home with a back yard. No Apartments. He would be an ideal dog for an active person, a hiker, runner, active outdoorsy type person/ family. If you would like to meet this sweet boy and possibly consider giving him a great home, please start by completing the adoption application and someone will call you within 48 hours if approved.
