Story
Sunny is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, waiting for her second chance at happiness. This 80-pound Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix is 7 years old and ready to find her forever family. This beautiful soul spent 557 days in the shelter due to a welfare case. She truly deserves a place to call a forever home! Though Sunny may be shy and nervous at first, beneath that quiet exterior is a calm and loving dog who is slowly opening up to the world. She’s made amazing progress, becoming more comfortable on walks and showing comfort around other dogs. Sunny has favorite cozy spots like the couch or a human bed where she enjoys her peaceful retreat. She has even initiated brief play with another dog. She is crate trained, though so laid-back that crating isn’t necessary. Quiet and rarely barking, Sunny would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can enjoy a calm, relaxed life. Could you be the special family Sunny is searching for? After waiting so long, she deserves the love and security only a caring family can provide. Let’s give this beautiful girl the happy ending she’s been waiting for! If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed.
