She’s made amazing progress, becoming more comfortable on walks and showing comfort around other dogs. This is a calm and gentle Turkish Kangal (Anatolian Shepherd type). I originally adopted him from a friend’s farm. He is not picky with food and generally follows commands well. He can be a bit timid in new environments and may need time to build confidence. Some commands require repetition, so patient and consistent training works best. He is a double-coated breed and sheds heavily about twice a year, so a home comfortable with seasonal shedding is important. Due to my current schedule, I’m not able to provide the time and companionship he deserves. He would do best in a home with a yard, where he can spend time outdoors, use the yard for bathroom breaks, and alert the household if someone approaches. I am looking for a responsible, experienced home where he can feel safe and happy. A rehoming fee applies to ensure a responsible placement.
