Story
Meet Roo Roo is an affectionate, couch-loving girl who bonds deeply with her people and thrives in a home where she can be the center of attention. She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys the simple pleasures in life—snuggling on the couch, ear and face rubs, and flopping onto her back with her feet in the air while she happily chews on a toy. Roo loves getting outside and going on walks, especially when she can explore new trails. She walks well on leash, sits politely for her harness, and knows her basic commands. With her people, she is sweet, attentive, and very loving. Roo does have some challenges that are important to be upfront about. She is reactive to other dogs while walking on leash and will need continued, consistent training to help her navigate those moments. Because of this, Roo needs to be the only dog in the home and would do best with an adopter who understands leash reactivity or is willing to work with a trainer to support her ongoing progress. In the right environment—one where her needs are understood and respected—Roo is a loyal, affectionate companion who truly shines. She’s looking for a home that values connection, routine, and patience, and in return she’ll offer plenty of love, snuggles, and happy trail adventures. If you’re searching for a devoted best friend and are ready to commit to helping Roo continue to grow, she may be the perfect match for you. PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Adoption donation is $395 cash, $420 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755

Story
This golden goofball is Chip—a big, bouncy mixed-breed mystery mutt who’s got the heart of a pup and the face of your favorite grandpa. Found as a stray in Georgia, Chip showed up skinny, heartworm positive, and down on his luck. But don’t worry—this comeback king got the royal treatment, beat heartworms like a champ, and is now living his best life up north while he searches for his forever couch (ahem, we mean home).Chip is currently on a very important mission: Operation Get Chunky. At 84 pounds, he's got the frame of a linebacker and the metabolism of a teenager, so we’re working hard to get some extra fluff on those bones! He’s a charming guy with luscious golden locks, soulful eyes, and a permanent “I just woke up from a nap” expression. Despite the distinguished mug, Chip's energy is all zoomies, tail wags, and belly flops.Chip is a social butterfly when it comes to meeting other dogs out and about—he enjoys having doggie friends to hang with—but he’d prefer to be the only animal in his home. He’s good with kids over 12, leash-savvy, and knows some commands (he’s very smart… when he feels like it). He’s the kind of pup who’ll make you laugh with his goofy antics, ridiculous sleeping positions, and dramatic sighs when he doesn’t get his way. Now, full transparency—Chip isn’t a huge fan of sharing his food or treats. Everything else? No problem! But when it comes to snack time, he prefers a little personal space. We totally get it (who doesn’t get hangry?), and we’re working with him on polite mealtime manners. Thanks to a kind sponsor from our community, Chip's adoption fee is already paid. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
