She’s a 4-year-old (maybe Anatolian Shepherd mix) weighing about 60 pounds of pure sweetness. Hazel gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids—she truly is as gentle and easygoing as they come. She’s done an amazing job raising her pups like a champ, and now it’s her turn to be cared for and loved in a home of her own. Can anyone open their home to foster this beautiful girl? Meet Forest, a very special boy looking for his forever home!This sweet pup was rescued from Alabama, where he spent much of his life roaming the streets and escaping his yard whenever he got the chance. He`s settling into the good life beautifully, in his foster home — whether that`s soaking up attention at the baseball field or making new friends wherever he goes.He hasn`t met a person, child, or dog he didn`t love. He`s incredibly social and thrives on being around people. His ideal home would be one that wants him to be part of the family adventures because he truly wants to go wherever his people go. He`s a medium-energy dog who enjoys activity but isn`t over-the-top hyper. We are working on “no jump” and he’d likely excel at agility too—this guy can clear a baby gate like it`s nothing!He`s fully potty trained and hasn`t had a single accident in his foster home. At night, he happily sleeps on his human foster brother’s floor, for up to 8 hours without needing to go outside. Crates currently make him anxious, so his fosters are taking things slowly by feeding him in the crate with the door open. When away, he`s done great spending up to four hours in the fully furnished basement with his toys and dog beds.He’s still working on leash manners, but to be fair, his foster mom lives in a nature center full of squirrels, chipmunks, ducks, and even the occasional frog—so there are a lot of exciting distractions! This boy has so much love to give and will make an amazing companion for someone willing to provide the exercise, attention, and companionship he deserves. Ferris is a sweet, smart, endlessly lovable 15-month-old doggo. We adopted him last June and love him deeply but our circumstances have changed, and we're honest enough to know he deserves more space and more time than we can give him. He is wonderful with people of all ages, and kids especially adore him (and vice versa). He gets along great with other dogs, is up to date on vaccines, and completed 12 weeks of puppy training. He responds well to basic commands and while he still has some puppy tendencies (i.e., chewing, digging), he's bright and eager to please. Ferris would thrive in a home with more room to roam and a family that can give him the time and attention he deserves.
