Ty by name, spunky by nature! This very friendly boy knows how to work the room with that big grin. He's obedient and great with other dogs, but would love you to teach him new tricks. Ty ended up at a rural Texas shelter where, due to overcrowding, he was at risk of euthanasia. I am 80lbs, 4 years old and l am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up to date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, the adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Location: Nixa, MO Weight: 120 lbs Gunner's previous owner gave him away to a stranger on Facebook and shortly after that, he ended up in the shelter in pretty bad condition. Just Giants stepped in to rescue him in May and he has been thriving in his foster home since then. He is ready for his forever home now!  Gunner is an amazing boy that will be a great companion. He is a typical young Dane that loves to play and will need training. He doesn't quite understand how big he is! Which is why he would do best in a home without small children. He likes other dogs and will play with them all day. He could barely see through his Cherry Eyes and was uncomfortable before his surgery. Tater Tot has a playful side and now that he can see, he loves toys and chewing on Kongs. He is afraid of the crate but does well left alone in the house.
