Story
Hi, I’m Tracie and I’m ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Tracie Location: Plano, IL Date of Birth: 06/01/2024 Gender: Female Breed: Anatolian Shepherd Color: White / Black Dog's Weight: 95 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs  Cats?:  NO CATS!! Kids?: All kids Other?: Horses Training: Leash Trained - walks loose leash Crate Trained - goes to crate/kennel on command Potty Trained - indicates need to potty and doesn't have indoor accidents Car - Rides well in the car Sit, inside, room, crate Meet Tracie Tracie is a wonderfully gentle and affectionate girl who has quickly captured the hearts of everyone she meets. When you walk up to her, she’ll happily roll over and present her belly for scratches — her sweet way of asking for a little love and attention. Her calm and docile nature makes her a truly easy companion to have around. Around the house, Tracie is content simply being near her people. She loves lounging beside you on the couch but is also perfectly happy relaxing on her own nearby. She is potty trained, house trained, and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a new home. Although she has a relaxed personality, Tracie still enjoys a little fun when the opportunity arises. If another dog invites her to play, she’s happy to join in with a burst of playful energy. One of her best traits is how well she adjusts her energy level to match the environment around her — whether that means playtime or quiet relaxation. Tracie spent several months as a stray in Tennessee, so she truly appreciates the simple joy of being outside. A fenced yard would be ideal for her so she can safely enjoy fresh air, stretch her legs, and explore her surroundings. She would be a wonderful fit for a first-time giant breed owner thanks to her gentle temperament and easygoing nature. She does not require someone who works from home, but she will gladly soak up affection whenever her people are around. In fact, if Tracie could design her perfect home, it would include as many hands as possible ready to give belly rubs and pets. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm companion who loves people, enjoys the outdoors, and will happily trade cuddles for belly scratches, Tracie might just be your perfect match. Story
This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 121 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He also has an obsession with deer! For that reason, a privacy fence would be ideal if you have deer around your home. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides". Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! If you would like to be Charlie’s forever family, please email dogs4mylife@ gmail.com or olmc7@ hotmail.com. If you are inquiring from a Gmail address.
