Quantum was found on 7/20/26 at the 600 block of Lochaven Ave. in Springfield. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Got Slick from Greenhill about two years ago. Was a very all over the place dog. Pulled on the leash. Was nippy and very chaotic over all. Trained a lot of problems out of him. He is able to walk amazing by your side with an e collar on. Otherwise he is very husky like in a rebellious do whatever he wants way. He is an amazing dog and I have had him around deer, rabbits, and cats. All of which he has chased but then sniffs and tries to play with. Now he is a husky so he could possibly have a prey drive activate and I would be weary of that. He is a very loving dog and needs his exercise. He needs a home with a yard and some people or dogs to play with. He plays great with dogs. I have to come to terms with reality and a husky is not a trailer life dog. His needs are not met and that is why I have chosen to get rid of him. I also work over 10 hours a day so he is practically neglected for 18 hours. I’ve put time into him and I really want to see him go toa good home. Thanks for looking!

Hi, I`m Myron! I`m about 5 years old and weigh 86 pounds. I have a medical release that staff will discuss with you further.I am currently in foster care. Please contact Canine Program staff if you would like to meet me!Large dogs aren’t harder to love - sometimes they just need a little extra support. Ask us about our More to Love adoption resources for large breed dogs and puppies.I`m eligible for Greenhill`s Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.** I`m a volunteer favorite and here`s why:`He is very well behaved & such a quick learner. Quick to listen, good recall, overall a smart well behaved dog!``Myron is great, he is easy to harness, very friendly and so well behaved on a leash.``Myron would make a great addition to anyone’s home. He’s such a good dog with so much love to give.` **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve been nervous meeting new dogs at the shelter. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet me.Cats? Unknown. A slow introduction would help set us up for success.Kids? I would like to be around kids that can be respectful of me. 10+Anything else you`d like us to know, Myron? I can be nervous with new folks, but once we`ve had a minute to get to know each other, I`m a friendly guy!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license
