Story
Pretty Girl walked on to our property and said," Here I am! " She is a wonderful dog-sweet, affectionate, gets along with everyone- dog, cat, people, donkeys, cows! But, she will not tolerate a leash so far and does not like to be contained unless it is on her terms. She will go in the kennel with Mac and Paris over night but come morning, she wants out to guard the rescue and be with the people and all the other animals. She is a challenge but she never leaves our property. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Meet Champ &#194&#150 The Goofy Gentleman & Adventure Pro! Been looking for a big dog with an even bigger heart (and just the right amount of mischief)? Look no further &#194&#151 Champ is your guy! Champ is a 2-year-old, 71-lb Anatolian Shepherd mix who was found near S. Goliad in Rockwall and never reclaimed. He's spent over 266 days (as of 12/22/25) waiting for his perfect match... and now he's officially a Diamond Dog, which means his adoption fee is just $75! A Quick Heads-Up Champ is a clever, curious boy who loves to explore, so he'll need a secure fence at least 8 feet tall to safely enjoy his backyard adventures. No chain-link or short fencing &#194&#151 this guy has hops and a nose for fun! Why You'll Love Champ Total lovebug &#194&#151 lives for snuggles and being close to his people Great with kids of all ages and is very gentle when playing. He also loves his toys and is very gentle with them as well. Best suited for a home where someone is home most of the day or works from home Not a dog who can be left alone in a yard all day &#194&#151 Champ bonds deeply with his people and can become anxious when separated for long periods Leash pro &#194&#151 walks like a champ (pun intended!) Loves toys, zoomies, and cozy nap spots Greets everyone with a wag and that signature goofy grin Champ may do well with another dog, but a meet & greet is required to ensure a good match. Medical Info Neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines Heartworm positive, but treatment is fully covered thanks to Rockwall PAWS If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who truly lives for his people, Champ is ready to make your heart his home. Story
Obedient, rides well in cars, friendly, smart, just an all around excellent boy! Crate/leash/house trained. Loves treats - milk bones, especially pupperonis. He's incredibly good natured and very happy. He'll come to you for attention but no clingy. He loves to run and will play with you if pretend to chase. If he gets over-excited he could try to jump on you. We've worked very hard on him not jumping up. Just be sure he knows to mind. He loves to play with another foster dog. Found her when she was 10 weeks old and right away they were great play pals. She could do anything to him and he could care less. They love to wrestle - even now that she's older and bigger. He LOVES to run and MUST be in a fenced yard. When my donkey is in backyard with him, he'll play with her ignoring pinned ears. Of course, my jenny is very gentle and patient so brushes off him jumping up on her. I say needs to be in fenced yard as he'll run the fence when trucks go by on our road. We live on busy farm to market road so lots of big trucks/school buses. If he was outside a fence, he might get idea to chase them. He will run yard and bark. He'll also sometimes bark at night or early morning to let us know if neighbor cow is out of the fence and on the property behind us. He's quiet in the house and very quiet at night in his crate. He likes to be in his crate btw. He's a great farm dog. Know that he also likes to dig - not that big a deal for me as have a small farm.

Story
Meet Chance – The Gentle Giant with a Heart Full of Hope Chance is a 11-month-old Anatolian Shepherd/pyrenees mix who embodies everything we love about the breed—loyal, gentle, calm, and deeply loving. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, wonderful with children, and even gets along beautifully with cats and livestock. With his easygoing temperament, Chance is the kind of dog who brings a quiet strength and steady presence to any home. He enjoys affection and will happily accept your love, but he’s also content doing his own thing, making him the perfect balance of independence and companionship. Chance didn’t have the easiest start in life. He was found as a tiny, underweight puppy—his body covered in parasites and his skin painfully inflamed from mites. But with proper care, patience, and love, he healed quickly and has blossomed into the beautiful, resilient boy he is today. Now, Chance is ready for the one thing he’s never had: a forever family who will love and protect him the way he deserves.
