Story
Meet Jesse!Jesse is 6 years young and may be a little shy at first, but this sweet girl is truly a big softy at heart. Once she warms up, her gentle and loving nature shines through, and she forms a quiet, loyal bond with her people. Her previous owner shared that Jesse was an indoor dog, is housetrained, and already knows a few commands in both Spanish and English - what a smart girl! She loves going on walks and walks beautifully on a leash, staying calm and composed even when other dogs are barking. Jesse prefers a peaceful stroll right by your side. She has been around other dogs and may do well with a canine companion, though she would love to meet your dog first before heading home. Jesse has made it clear that she’s not a fan of those scary cats.Jesse was surrendered through no fault of her own, simply because her owner could no longer afford to care for a pet. With a little patience and kindness, she will blossom into a devoted, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving best friend, Jesse may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Cache is the “little” sister of Pixel and Wifi. She is quite a bit smaller than the other two and shows the least immediate resemblance to their Great Pyrenees relatives. She is also the most cautious of the three and will take a minute to think before she gets into anything new. We are looking forward to see her personality evolve as she grows and hope you will consider adding this little nugget to your family. Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
Noelle is a gentle soul that has a lot of love to bestow on her humans! She’s what we call a velcro dog because she seeks closeness. She sometimes jumps on you very gently just for a snuggle. She is a 4-year-old 58 pound Anatolian Shepherd/Lab mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/6 as a stray. She’s a very attractive, fluffy girl that looks bigger than she really is. She’s got soft alluring brown eyes and a curly tail. She casually moseyed around the yard, and then she would come back and look up at me. She gave me kisses. She didn’t appear to know the sit command, but that’s something you could teach her. She stays so close when walking on a leash. There’s no doubt that she would be a loyal, devoted companion. She would like to spend time outside to take in the smells and the sunshine, but then come inside to be close as she is a wonderful cuddlebug.

Story
Meet Panda, named for his distinct panda face eyes! This charming young boy may be in his “teenage” phase, but he’s already proven just how resilient and loving he can be. Panda might not look much like a Great Pyrenees, but he was found alongside sweet Tabitha, surviving on their own with no one to rely on but each other. Now safe in the DFW area, Panda is showing his true colors—sweet, loyal, and ready to find a family of his own. He shares an especially close bond with Tabitha, and their connection is something special. In fact, we even suspect Panda could be one of her pups. Panda would love a home filled with companionship, patience, and love as he continues to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Ready to welcome Panda into your life?
