Story
All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter.  We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application.  If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.helpingshepherdsofeverycolor.com/adoption-application  You may also find us on facebook:  Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue. 6/24/22 Ducky is a very sweet boy.  He likes dogs, cats, chickens, kids, and yes, even ducks.  He is brand new to rescue but we do know that he is a sweet dog.  He is initially timid around men.   2/21/24  Ducky is still in the rescue.  He is a smart dog and very sweet. Just because a dog looks like a German Shepherd mix doesn't mean it is.  We found out that Ducky is actually mostly heeler.  That's OK he needed a place to land, and we had room. Story
Hidy do! I'm Opal and it sure is nice to meet you! I am a two-year-old husky mix that is out of her home! I had a home for a while, but I really didn't care for the other dog in the home. I tried to get along, but honestly I think I would be best in a home as the only pet. I just don't like the competition. I want to be your one and only!! Anyway I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. Remember I am a working dog so keep me busy and very active and I know we will do just great together.

Story
Hi there! I'm Ralphie! This adorable little fellow was picked up by one of the nice deputies of Animal Control as I roamed around a neighborhood here in town. I was never claimed by my family and I am now ready to look for a new home. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am still a young puppy and there is so much that I need to learn about good doggie manners, so I hope my new family will teach me. I will also need lots of exercise and fun playtime with my "fam!" Are you ready for me?

Story
Presenting~Redford! He's a super sweet and super clean doggy. Redford likes to be petted and taking walks with his volunteers. He can become hyper-focused on things he is distracted by-he wants to run 'to them', so he will need a secure yard for his outside time. Please feel free to contact the shelter if you would like more information on Redford.
