Story
Nitrous is a bright and athletic 2-year-old Australian Kelpie who’s ready to bring her big heart to a new home. She completed “Beginner Education” training at PetSmart and shows off her skills with enthusiasm. Nitrous loves car rides, playtime, and plenty of room to stretch her legs. She’s been great with kids and, while she can be a little nervous with new people at first, she warms up beautifully with patience and kindness. This sweet girl is eager to bond with a family who will give her the love and adventure she deserves.

Story
Jasper A6447536 years old 49 lbs.So calm. He is such a good boy!Fluffy white mix with tan ears and patches. Jasper`s perfect home would be one with no young kids and no other dogs. Due to resource guarding history with food and treats, dog intro is required. Preferably should be the only dog, and NO young children. He has lived with cats and are Fed in separate places. Likes to play in water, and does wonderfully when getting bathed. Used the doggie door to go in and out. House trained. History said he is kennel trained, yet you don`t need one. Jasper getst really excited for walks, jumps and whines. Jasper loves people and attention! Extremely affectionate, velcro dog.Loves being on the couch beside you, and the cool floor when it`s hot. Sleeps on the couch or dog bed.Loves belly, ear, and any human soft scratch or rubs.Loves brushings.Sits for treats, and then takes it outside. Ask about adopting him today!

Story
Latte is a special young dog in search of a special home. He’s a graduate of PACC’s decompression program for shy and fearful dogs and needs a family who understands that he’ll need extra time to feel safe in a new home. Latte has been taken care of by a dedicated group of volunteers that focus on our most fearful pups, and those volunteers are deeply committed to seeing Latte succeed. However, the shelter environment only allows for so much growth, and Latte really needs to continue his journey in a savvy and committed home now. Here’s what a few of Latte’s friends have had to say:“Latte has been continuing to make good progress. He has accepted an occasional walker he didn`t know before, allows her to leash him without trouble, and allows her to touch, scratch and rub him in the field. He was calm and comfortable with her on the way back the last time. With me he is relaxed and happy to see me, leashes easily, is bright and interactive on walks, and shows little fear of things going on around us. I believe he will do well in a patient home.”“Today Latte was the best he has been for me. I had planned on walking Latte and his kennelmate separately, but Latte came to the door and seemed to want to come along. I leashed him and we went to the yard. When I was in the yard Latte stood next to me and took treats from my hand several times. I then got up and just started walking around the yard and he followed behind me and sometimes would walk next to me.”“Excellent session with Latte- he seemed more companionable that usual. Leashed easily and was a happy walker with his kennelmate. They really like one another. For the first time I was able to touch, scratch and pet Latte at sitdown- a big step for him. We all then went on around the big lake and had a nice second sitdown where I was also able to pet him again. Love how he`s progressing.”“Latte`s holdout issue has been touch and he is progressing. A team member who sees him only once a week remarked yesterday how much better he was, and today I was able to give extended touch and cheek/neck/ear scratches in the field, even loose leash, when he has never tolerated touch in the field at all before.”As you can see, Latte is not a dog who will plug seamlessly into any home and be an instant snugglebug. But, he has learned to trust and has a wonderful future in the right home with a family who understands him. Latte shares his kennel with a pal who he loves and takes comfort

Story
`Meet Vulcan, a sweet and soulful 2-year-old tripod who’s as gentle as they come. Fully house-trained with perfect manners, Vulcan has never had an accident indoors and patiently waits by the door—or gives a soft little whine—when it’s time to go outside. He doesn’t bark, even in new or exciting situations, making him an ideal companion for households with young children or anyone looking for a peaceful, low-noise pup. One little boy asked to pet him on a walk, and Vulcan calmly approached, wagging gently, happy to receive affection. His quiet, steady nature makes him a perfect match for families, first-time dog owners, or anyone who might be nervous around more boisterous dogs. While Vulcan doesn’t yet know his name (he responds best to “puppy” or “who’s a good boy”), and he’s still learning basic commands, his eagerness to connect and please shines through every day. He’s a little wary of new spaces at first—when he first arrived, he stuck to the living room for two weeks before discovering the kitchen! Even now, he mostly sticks close to his people and only ventures into other rooms if they’re already there. This makes him great for homes with off-limits areas or families looking for a dog who won’t wander or get into things. His easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality makes him a gentle presence in any environment. What really sets Vulcan apart is his deep emotional sensitivity. He’s an affectionate cuddlebug who loves being close to his humans, often curling up beside them or resting his head in a lap. He’s especially attuned to emotions—if someone is crying or upset, Vulcan will come running to comfort them, tail wagging and heart wide open. This resilient, loving boy has already overcome a lot, and he carries himself with a quiet strength and tenderness that’s impossible not to fall in love with. Vulcan is more than ready for a forever home filled with kindness, patience, and plenty of snuggles.`
