EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE (Available for Adoption, Foster or Rescue) for Tuesday 4/29 at 5pmOver the past couple of weeks, PACC has been helping an overwhelmed caregiver with too many dogs on their property. Sadly, many of these dogs tested positive for distemper. PACC currently has 12 young dogs in need of urgent placement so they have a chance to recover in a safe, loving home. These dogs came from a secluded life and have never known what it`s like to be part of a real family. They didn’t get to play fetch, sleep on couches, or go for car rides. Now they’re scared, confused, and living in kennels with limited access to the outside world. It’s no life for any dog—especially not shy puppies like these. We are hoping to find foster, adoption or rescue placement for these special pups by Tuesday. They would do best in a patient home willing to go slow and with another confident dog (They could also go home with one of their siblings for support!) They`re already starting to come around with our staff and those who have already been placed in foster homes have blossomed quickly. We know with some time to get love and structure out of the shelter, they will grow into happy, healthy family pets. Distemper is NOT contagious to adult, fully vaccinated dogs, and cats are not at risk. If your dog needs a vaccine booster, PACC can help with that, too. All fosters will be provided with supplies, medical support, and guidance. Our isolation space is extremely limited. If we cannot place these dogs by their deadline, we may be forced to consider euthanasia—something we are trying desperately to avoid. Please come down to PACC this weekend to offer a lifeline to these deserving pups! Questions? Email: pacc.medicalfoster@pima.gov Come to PACC during business hours to meet them.

Story
Odin is about 5 years Old Honestly this fellow sir needs someone who will give him lots of affection and play time. He's potty trained and very obedient and loves to drag anyone who owns a skateboard haha diffidently a good guard dog and will analyze anyone carefully to see if they a good person and will know when someone has bad intentions. But unfortunately Due to unforeseen marriage issues that has forced me to move back to cali with my mom. since she lives in an apartment. list of things he likes -long walks - long drives -pulling on the skateboards - good guard - fetching balls/ BTW you don't need to worry about running away once he trusts you you're his friend and will stick by your side like glue... - big cuddler - loves any treats -loves head scratches - loves going to the beach honestly list goes on....so I hope whoever gets this guy please love him with all your heart and treat him like family.
