Story
Taz is a sweet, loyal pup with a gentle soul. He’s nervous around new people and may nip when unsure, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loving and devoted. He’s grown up with our 18-month-old daughter and does great with her. He also loves doggy daycare and gets along well with other dogs. Taz is potty trained, full of energy, and lives for fetch and outdoor play.He hasn’t been around older kids or cats, so slow introductions would be best. Taz needs a patient, experienced home that understands herding breeds. With love and time, he’ll be your most loyal companion. Contact me @ 479-422-4406Taz is a beautiful young Australian Shepard/ Blue Heeler mix with a sensitive heart and a loyal spirit. At just a year old, he’s still figuring out the world and can be a bit nervous when meeting new people. He may nip when he’s unsure, but this behavior comes from fear—not aggression. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, Taz opens up into the sweetest, most devoted companion. He’s been raised alongside my 18-month-old daughter and has shown a gentle, respectful nature around her. Taz also does great with other dogs and enjoys going to doggy daycare where he can socialize and play. He hasn’t been around older children or cats, so we’re not sure how he’d do, but he’s still young and adaptable with the right support.Taz is potty trained and happiest when he’s outdoors—he absolutely loves to run and play fetch. He would thrive in a home with a yard, an active lifestyle, and someone who understands the energy and needs of herding breeds.Taz needs a person or family who will be patient, consistent, and willing to meet him where he’s at. In return, he’ll give you his whole heart—and then some.

Story
Meet Ada – Your Next Energetic Adventure Buddy!Ada is a smart, high-energy working dog with a strong herding instinct and a big heart. True to her herding roots, she thrives when she has a job to do and can be a little nippy as she tries to “herd” her humans—it's just her way of saying, let’s get moving! Playful and spirited, Ada loves romping in the yard and going on leash walks, where she shows off her good manners and zest for life. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially during playtime. Ada had FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery last year and made a great recovery. While she walks a bit lightly on her repaired leg, it doesn’t slow her down or dampen her enthusiasm for fun.Ada will thrive in a home that understands her need for structure, stimulation, and purpose. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who’s always ready to engage, Ada might just be your perfect match.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application). Story
Ranger is a highly energetic, fun-loving, adorable young Aussie. He is curious about everything and loves to be loved on. He sleeps in his kennel every night along with his best friend Tiger. He has been trained to sit, shake hands, and lay down. He learns very quickly and is getting better on leash and walking around the neighborhood. He loves to fetch his tennis balls and sticks but sometimes doesn’t like to bring them back! :) He needs a home with a yard to run and play in and someone/people to spend plenty of time with.
