**About Bubu:** Thank you for interested in adopting Bubu. Please know that Bubu is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Meet Bubu: A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Best Friend Bubu once had a home, but she was sadly abandoned simply because she grew "too big." Despite this heartbreak, Bubu remains a vibrant, confident, and well-mannered girl who holds no grudges—only love! Why you’ll fall in love with Bubu: Social Superstar: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. Household Manners: She is house-trained and prefers going outside, but she’s also smart enough to use pee pads indoors if needed. The Perfect Walking Partner: She walks beautifully on a leash, though she does get a little "puppy-excited" when she sees a bird or squirrel to chase! Quiet & Friendly: She rarely barks and currently lives peacefully in a foster home with six dogs and two cats. A few quirks: Bubu is a "free spirit" who doesn't like being confined by playpens or fences—she’s quite the jumper! Because of this, we focus on crate training instead. Occasionally, if left alone, she might find a pen or a small box on the table to chew on, so she’d love a home that provides plenty of toys. Bubu is ready to find a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. If you have room in your heart and home for this amazing girl, please contact us today!

Story
Breed: Foxhound X Cattle Dog Age: 6 year Weight: 77 lbs Health Status: Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped Housing: Detached home, townhome or ground level apartment- no elevators Junior is a striking boy with soulful eyes that tell a story of resilience. Before coming to us, Junior lived in unpredictable situations, which taught him to be cautious around new people. While he may seem shy at first, beneath that uncertainty is a gentle spirit and a dog who craves connection and trust. Since joining us, Junior has begun to blossom. With structure, routine, and patient care, he is showing his affectionate side by checking in for comfort, seeking reassurance, and melting hearts with his sweetness. When given calm introductions, a little time to sniff, and some tasty treats, Junior warms up beautifully. Recently, he met someone new in this way and even went on his first walk with them. He did amazing and is ready to keep growing. What Junior Needs -Slow, gentle introductions to new people and places. -Positive reinforcement and predictable routines to help him feel safe. -A calm handler and a quiet retreat space, such as an open crate He would do best with adopters who understand under-socialized dogs and are committed to helping him build confidence. Junior truly wants to trust and just needs someone willing to guide him. Junior’s Ideal Home -Quiet, patient, and structured environment. -Best as the only dog, though he may do well with a calm, steady female dog. -No cats or children Why Junior? Junior is looking for someone who believes in gentle, positive change and wants to make a meaningful difference in a dog’s life. With the right adopter, this brave boy has the potential to thrive. If you want to help a deserving dog learn that people can be safe, loving, and reliable, Junior is your guy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ready to Apply? Story
Little Danny is a gentle, sensitive soul who needs a patient and understanding adopter. He can be fearful around new people-especially men-and may require multiple visits before he feels comfortable. Once he bonds, though, he becomes incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate.Danny is easily spooked, so his ideal home will need a secure 6-foot fenced yard to help keep him safe. He would also benefit greatly from working with an AnimalKind-approved trainer to build confidence and support his continued progress. If you're willing to go slow and let Danny set the pace, you'll be rewarded with a devoted companion who will love you wholeheartedly. Not good with kids,
Story
Max is a charming 7-year-old mix with the best of three breeds and a personality that's full of heart. Known for his adorable "wiggle butt," Max doesn't just wag his tail-he wags his whole body when he's happy (which is often when he sees his favorite people). He's deeply affectionate and thrives on human connection. Max can have some anxiety when left alone, so he'd do best in a home where someone is around more often, or where he can be supported with structure and reassurance.Max needs to be the only dog in the household, as he prefers to have all the love and attention to himself. That said, he's shown a sweet curiosity and gentle affection toward kittens, which might make him a good fit for a home with feline friends (with proper introductions, of course).Max is looking for a dedicated, dog-savvy adopter who understands that behind his big feelings is a big-hearted, loyal companion just waiting for the right person to love. Please submit an application through the link below for Mr. Max!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Red Brown Weight: 26 Age: 7yrs 3mths 1wks
