**About Bubu:** Thank you for interested in adopting Bubu. Please know that Bubu is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Meet Bubu: A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Best Friend Bubu once had a home, but she was sadly abandoned simply because she grew "too big." Despite this heartbreak, Bubu remains a vibrant, confident, and well-mannered girl who holds no grudges—only love! Why you’ll fall in love with Bubu: Social Superstar: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. Household Manners: She is house-trained and prefers going outside, but she’s also smart enough to use pee pads indoors if needed. The Perfect Walking Partner: She walks beautifully on a leash, though she does get a little "puppy-excited" when she sees a bird or squirrel to chase! Quiet & Friendly: She rarely barks and currently lives peacefully in a foster home with six dogs and two cats. A few quirks: Bubu is a "free spirit" who doesn't like being confined by playpens or fences—she’s quite the jumper! Because of this, we focus on crate training instead. Occasionally, if left alone, she might find a pen or a small box on the table to chew on, so she’d love a home that provides plenty of toys. Bubu is ready to find a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. If you have room in your heart and home for this amazing girl, please contact us today!

Breed: Foxhound X Cattle Dog Age: 6 year Weight: 77 lbs Health Status: Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped Housing: Detached home, townhome or ground level apartment- no elevators Junior is a striking boy with soulful eyes that tell a story of resilience. Before coming to us, Junior lived in unpredictable situations, which taught him to be cautious around new people. With structure, routine, and patient care, he is showing his affectionate side by checking in for comfort, seeking reassurance, and melting hearts with his sweetness. When given calm introductions, a little time to sniff, and some tasty treats, Junior warms up beautifully. Recently, he met someone new in this way and even went on his first walk with them. He did amazing and is ready to keep growing. What Junior Needs -Slow, gentle introductions to new people and places. -Positive reinforcement and predictable routines to help him feel safe. -A calm handler and a quiet retreat space, such as an open crate He would do best with adopters who understand under-socialized dogs and are committed to helping him build confidence. Junior truly wants to trust and just needs someone willing to guide him. Junior’s Ideal Home -Quiet, patient, and structured environment. -Best as the only dog, though he may do well with a calm, steady female dog. -No cats or children Why Junior? Junior is looking for someone who believes in gentle, positive change and wants to make a meaningful difference in a dog’s life. With the right adopter, this brave boy has the potential to thrive. Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Story
Hi there! My name’s Mani and here is a bit of info about me: Breed: Australian Shepard/Great PyreneesAge: 1 yearGender: MaleWeight: 50 lbs Height: 27 inch Highlights: Happy go lucky, playful, energetic, adventurous, cheerful, fast learner Do you like a pup with a big heart and even bigger dreams?  Life didn’t start out easy for me—I was just a tiny pup when someone left me in front of a crowded shelter. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I decided then and there to stay positive and keep my tail wagging.Since then, I’ve been living at the shelter, making the best of it. Everyone here loves me, and I’ve made lots of friends, but I can’t help dreaming of having my very own family. I dream of having my own cozy bed to curl up in and a pile of squeaky toys to call my own. I dream of going on long walks, hikes, and exciting adventures, making memories with my forever family.I’m what you’d call a happy-go-lucky kind of guy! I love everyone I meet—dogs, cats, humans—you name it, I’m their friend. Playtime is my absolute favorite, especially when I get to run around and wrestle with my furry pals. I have lots of energy and need daily activities to keep me happy and healthy. You'll be happy to note, I show no signs of aggression or resource guarding observed. I am a very fast learner and given the opportunity, I will learn all the tricks there is in no time.If you’re looking for a cheerful, adventurous companion to fill your days with love and laughter, I might just be the pup for you.I promise I’ll win you over with my wagging tail, sunny personality, and big heart! Energy Level: Medium/high, still a puppy I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: YesKids: Unknown, rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Prey drive: None observed, My adopter should be willing to seek a trainer if such behavior arises. Training: Basic. Please be patient with me..Leash skills: Undetermined. Please be prepared to continue training me.House trained: Know where to go potty at my current location, however, please be prepared to help me learn where to go in my new home.  Health notes: I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##2288935##

Story
Hi, I am Lullaby (Simba), and here is a bit about me: Breed: Australian Shepard/Shepard mixAge: 2 yrsGender: femaleWeight: 28 kgCountry of Origin: Middle EastHighlights: smart, trainable, cuddly, calm, social, friendly A soft, sweet survivor with a heart as pure as my flowing white chested fur, ready to bring 'Zen' and joy to my forever home. Life didn’t start with love; instead, an illegal breeding center was all that was known. After being abandoned on the streets, the nightmare continued when city workers shot me twice during a stray roundup. Running for my life while bleeding and weak, survival seemed uncertain until kind rescuers stepped in. Thanks to a wonderful vet and a fighting spirit, those dark days are now replaced by health, happiness, and a heart full of hope. Being a cuddly muffin who loves hugs and kisses, relaxing together is what I do best.My beautiful white fur flows like a waterfall down my chest, a lovely sight to behold while we chill out! Smart and trainable, I listen very well and look forward to all the fun stuff we can learn together. Friendly and social, I’m simply a girl who has fought for her life and is now ready to give all that love back to you. A peaceful family looking for a social and affectionate companion would be the perfect match. Having a moderate energy level means I'm up for adventures but also perfectly happy being your "cuddly muffin" at home. After everything, all that's missing is a "happily ever after" where safety and love are guaranteed. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza.
