He can walk well on a leash, and he was well behaved on his trip to the vet to get his shots.  He is crate trained and seems to be dog selective on the friendly scale.  Ranger does a nice stay for photos...takes a good picture.  Independent guy who beats to his own drummer - likes his private time.  He has learned much from his previous home. Story
This is Ruby, a fun loving and affectionate dog. I first welcomed Ruby into my life in November of 2021 when she was i believe around 9 months old and coming from my aunt. So she's now around 3-4 years old and is a mix of an Australian cattle dog and possibly another breed I'm unsure of. Ruby has a playful and sweet personality. She loves to run, play and spend time with people and my other dog whom is a small pug and she’s always been very affectionate and gentle towards my brothers after she gets her first burst of energy out. Like many active dogs, Ruby needs space to burn off her energy. When she gets bored or doesn't have enough room to play, she tends to chew things up or dig, so a home with a yard and someone who can keep her engaged would be good deal I'm heartbroken to be rehoming her, but due to ongoing family hardships, I can no longer give her the attention and environment she deserves.

Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs.  Star was given to us by her rescuer who found her tethered at the entrance to a riverbed with heavy coyote traffic, all alone, no water, and completely unable to defend herself if and when the coyotes were to come. She diligently tried looking for the owner of Star, but to no avail, so decided to trust Beagles and Buddies to care for and find Star the loving forever home she greatly deserves        Star is a very well behaved, loving, 4 legged package of energy. Walks extremely well on the leash, listens and obeys commands when instructed, and LOVES going on walks and having play dates with her doggie friends. She is both house and crate trained, and prefers to sleep in her crate at bed time, albeit she prefers to have one of her plushy toy companions to sleep with. Very seldomly does she bark, even when other dogs are going crazy.  If you think Star would be a great addition to your household then please give us a call or email us anytime to schedule an appointment for a meet and greet at our sanctuary.  We set adoption appointments Thursdays through Mondays from 10 am to 1 pm. Story
Handsome lad Hunter, an Australian Kelpie, is about 5 years old and 40-45 lbs.  He was rescued with many others from a breeding kennel. He is still a bit shy with people, but he's had a lot of training here and has improved a lot. He likes kiddie pools. He has an overall nice disposition- he's one of the few kennel dogs that doesn't bark when people go by. He has made human and canine friendships and is ready for adoption into his own forever home now. Hunter is great with all dogs. Hunter's best friends are Dobie and Dougie, who are also available for adoption. He was part of a group that came to us from a breeder in 2021. They were rescued by Brandon McMillan and one of our staff after the kennel owner died.  These dogs had never been touched by humans and their food was thrown on the ground where ignored feces lay. He is the last one still here and desperately deserves his own loving home.  All others adopted, and doing well in their homes.
