Found this dog at my job site hungry, scared and had a limp leg. I couldn't just walk away so i took him home got him an appointment to see if he was chipped and got his leg X-rayed. Just a torn muscle. he got his 1st set of shots but didn't put much more as i was unable to keep him. He's doing well now got a full belly and leg is all healed. He has high energy and loves to chase. My home is too small for him and his big energy. He's a loving dog and i can tell hes super thankful i had rescued him. I hope to find him a forever home before i resort to a shelter.

03/26/24 13:36 When who found her and had dog on leash, I approached dog, and I stuck my arm out to let her smell me. She closed her mouth and backed away a little bit. At that point I started to walk away, and the dog ran to me and attempted to bite my leg. The RP stated that she has not done that while in his care, and he has little girls who have interacted with the dog without issue. I was still able grabbed the leash and walk her to the intake room. We musseled her to vaccinate her. At first she gator rolled but then calmed down enough for us to proceed with the vaccines. When we began to walk her out to her kennel, there happen to be a cat in a trap in the lobby which she reacted to. Her hackles went up, and she started barking and growling. We then had to use the control stick to safely move her to her kennel.04/02/24 10:45 dog is over stimulated in the main kennels, nonstop barking moved to isolation04/10/24 12:23 Place another pet in kennel with her, both are doing well, no aggression seen from either.04/11/24 16:32 When giving water dog fought with kennel mate of same size and gender, over the water. Proceeded to growl when kennel mate tried getting water. They quickly separated when I banged on the cage, I put water bowls on opposite sides of the guillotine

Bluey was dumped at a large parking lot/ Alley and was amped up on drugs when we got the call about him. Security guard said he belonged to a homeless man and saw him leave him there. The Security thought it was only temporary and our Co-Founder Kristen saw him on Christmas Eve, he was SUPER HYPER and then the next day when she got the call about the dog being left there and it has now been over 24 hours. She rushed back and he was not moving. She took him home to get him safe and decompressed off whatever was in his system. He slept for two days and night. The 3rd day he was back to himself. He is the sweetest pup ever! He took to the pack right away with no issues so he is very dog friendly. He is great with the cats too! He is a gentle giant and nothing but a sweet cuddle bug! He can be a little goofy boy but it just warms your heart when he is. He deserves a chance at a great life and will you be that person to give him that? He is a cattle dog so he would do very well on a property with land but that's not necessary as long as you research this breed. We just will not consider apartments for him.
