Cita is shy and was found by a local couple who housed her for months and she remained shy. Does well with dogs and other animals and is a sweet dog who will need patience. We have in her a barn yard area with a large dog and she loves it! Getting closer to humans each day and will take treats. Young healthy mamasita.

Gretel; female cattle dog, 2 yrs oldGigi is a gorgeous, sweet Heeler, about 2 years old, 52lbs. This gal is used to house living, is house trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. Gigi is friendly with people, but would do best in an adult only home as her herding instincts are strong. Gigi arrived at the shelter with a male Heeler that she had lived with, so she can live with other dogs, but she does need help meeting new dogs. He's a doll!  2 yr old super cute, little male Heeler - neutered Very very friendly, easy to handle good on leash.  Owner dump, Victim of divorce, husband left Zane behind. Ex-wife said ZANE is her ex-husbands dog, and that Zane had lived for 2 yrs with cats and dogs, but she was now dumping him for being “dog aggressive” (because that is one of the only reasons SEAACA will take a surrendered dog. ) True story is the ex-wife is moving and not taking Zane with her. He needs time to bond and decompress. And it might not take anytime at all with a Heeler savvy person. Cattle Dog, male 2 yrs oldBasil is a charming, happy little Heeler, about 1.5 yrs old / 40lbs. He is house trained and crate trained, and excellent on the leash.  Basil had quite a bit of “Velcro heeler” separation anxiety when he was first rescued, but he has really improved and is now at typical Heeler level of Velcro, this breed really needs and wants to be with their person. Basil would do best in a child-free home because of his Heeler Velcro needs, but would be fine around any visiting children. He also would do great with another dog, he has been very easy and friendly with his foster sister, they play all day long. Basil’s foster mom says he has been fantastic on walks and at restaurants, she says there has been only one high energy Aussie 6 mo puppy that lives in the neighborhood that he reacts to by barking, but no other issues with dogs and none with people. Basil is looking for a Heeler experienced person or couple that can continue his impressive improvements and wants a loving, friendly companion. If you are Heeler savvy, and would love your own personal shadow and life coach/cuddler, Basil is your guy! Basil is currently being fostered in SoCal.
