Story
"I'm Scotty. I am very pleased to meet you. I'm a very curious and smart boy, or so I'm told. My foster also brags about how I'm 'the perfect size' at about 40 lbs. I was found wandering the streets, but I still know how to use the bathroom outside. It may take me a few days to figure out what you humans consider outside, but I catch on quickly. I like to lay around with something to nib on and watch tv. I haven't met another animal I dont get along with, but I really just want belly rubs and head scratches. I give lots of kisses! I like walking on a leash and don't pull at all. I hope you'll come to meet me and let me show you my squirrel. " Because my previous owner never kept me on heartworm prevention, and I was kept outside I now have to be treated for heartworm. I am a young dog and the treatment will last three months and I will be fine when it is over..The rescue will pay for all of my care. You just bring the love! I can be fostered by you until I am finished! WANT TO MEET THIS DOG? Please read the guidelines below provided by the rescue before you apply!! If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS! Apply at pawsfurrecovery.org We look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.

Story
My name is WRANGLER! I am super cute as you can see! I'm a smart boy, and I have a very calm demeanor. I'm a young guy at about 2 years old and 'the perfect size' at about 40 lbs. I was found wandering the streets with my brother SCOTTY who is also in a foster home. I am pretty chill and I really love belly rubs and head scratches. I give lots of kisses! I like walking on a leash and don't pull at all. I hope you'll come to meet me! I get along with other dogs with the right introduction so if you have a friend for me i would love to meet them! Because my previous owner never kept me on heartworm prevention, and I was kept outside I now have to be treated for heartworm. I am a young dog and the treatment will last three months and I will be fine when it is over. The rescue will pay for all of my care. You just bring the love! Barn life? No problem! She's great with other dogs and even barn cats, but let's keep her away from the feline friends at home. Story
Daisy's story unfolds from the depths of cruelty, saved by an angel in Putnam County, Florida. Three heartless figures sought to hang her, but intervention at the eleventh hour spared her life. Now sheltered at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Daisy grapples with shadows, her trust shattered by human cruelty. The leash, once a weapon, is a symbol of her trauma. She needs a patient hand, a gentle guide to rewrite the tragic narrative that stains her past. Can you be the chapter of hope in Daisy's heartbreaking tale?

Story
Hi, my name is Calle and I am a 3 year old Cattle dog. Due to my breed, I would do best in a home with a yard that allows me to run and get all of my energy out. I would also do best in a home with adults only who can understand and respect my boundaries. I am good with my doggy friends similar to my size and enjoy running around outside with them. I am a sweet girl who will enjoy spending time with you. Will you be my forever family? Ask a staff member if you are interested in meeting me!

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS!Apply at pawsfurrecovery.orgWe look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.If you meet requirements we will call you. Thanks for your interest in this amazing rescue dog!April 19, 2024, 2:30 am
