Story
Where are my blue heeler people?Meet KodaKoda is an Australian Cattle Dog, almost 5 years old, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her person - once you are hers, you will have a loyal companion who will happily shower you with affection and lots of kisses.Koda is smart, active, and loves to be engaged. Walks and playing frisbee are some of her favorite things, and she thrives when she has both physical activity and a person to connect with. She has been raised as an indoor dog and enjoys being part of the home. She does best in a quieter, adult home. Koda is not comfortable around young children and needs time to warm up to new people. With patience and the right environment, she settles in beautifully and becomes incredibly devoted. She currently lives with cats and does great with them - she even plays and runs around the house with one of her feline friends. With other dogs, she can be selective, so a meet-and-greet would be important if there are other pets in the home.Like many dogs, Koda is not a fan of thunderstorms or vet visits, so she will do best with someone who understands how to support her through those moments.Ideal Home:Adult-only homeSomeone experienced with herding breeds or confident dogsA calm, structured environmentActive lifestyle with walks, play and engagementPossibly as an only dog or with a compatible matchKoda is a special dog who just needs the right fit. In the right home, she will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and fun companion. Please complete an application on our website if you are interested. Local adoptions only.

Meet Jade 💚 Jade is a beautiful 2-year-old heeler mix weighing around 45 lbs, with a gentle soul and so much love just waiting to be shared. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe and trusts you, her sweet and affectionate personality truly shines. This lovely girl walks wonderfully on a leash and naturally stays close by your side, making her a great companion for daily strolls or relaxed outings. Jade absolutely loves treats and gentle pets—those are the fastest ways to her heart! Despite her rough start, having been found as a stray, Jade hasn’t lost her ability to love deeply. She’s ready for a fresh beginning with a patient and caring family who will give her the time she needs to open up. Jade would do best in a single adult-only home where she can feel safe, relaxed, and continue building her confidence at her own pace. With her loyal nature and loving spirit, Jade will make an incredible companion for the right person. All she needs now is a loving home to call her own. Meet Elfie Elfie is our quirky, sweet boy who has been patiently waiting over a year for his forever home—and we just know the right family is out there for him. He has a special way of making everyone smile, and it’s no surprise that our staff and volunteers absolutely adore him. Elfie gets along well with other dogs but can be selective.
